More likely to go to your lot, surely? After all, Jose can never have too much cover in those vital attacking midfield roles. Reckon you'll be right in there, soon as Spurs show any interest... <whistle>

    LOL
If Jose goes for another AM, I will seriously questions his sanity!

In all seriousness though, you guys have been light in midfield for a couple seasons, he would be a decent signing, no?

The United obsessives amongst your contingent would have a field day with Kaka playing for Manure.

But yes he'd be an interesting signing as long as he can still run. Back around 2007 he was superb but he's not played a huge amount of football since he joined Madrid.

Isn't he on ridiculous wages? Plus he's hardly been a regular at Real and so it would be a risk not worth taking imo

Nah the Utd obsessives amongst the Chelsea hordes will claim Kaka was offered the role of player manager at Utd before we even considered speaking with Moyes. Kaka could appear live on TV, swear an oath to God and state for the record that he was never approached by Utd and still the Chelsea contingent on not606 would claim the opposite to help them with their lack of self-worth since they asked at least 3 different managers before having no choice but to go back to Jose the one Roman had earlier sacked.

I assume you're referring to their obsession with fourth choice Moyes whilst overlooking the reality of fourth choice Mourinho and ****knowswhatnumber choice Eto'o?

They are getting a bit carried away I know.
But obsessive? I made a thread about Kaka and it has become about Moyes? I think the obsession is going both ways tbh :)

We need a central midfielder, not an attacking midfielder.

We have plenty of players who can play behind the striker or on the wings, we need some steel in midfield more than anything else. Kaka is not that steel, he's a luxury player...

We're a bit light in CM, but Kaka is not really a CM. He wouldn't play alongside Carrick, which is where we need a player, he would be more likely to play in the hole behind RVP, which is already more than covered by Rooney and Kagawa. Would much rather we put the time and effort into actually getting a signing we really need, rather than just taking whatever is available, no matter whether they are needed, as some of our rivals seem to have done this summer.

If necessary, I'd be happy with us keeping the title winning squad together this summer and seeing where we stand next May, rather than rushing into a panic buy and unsettling the squad as a result. Torres and Carroll have shown what can happen if you try to fix your problems by grabbing whoever is available at the end of a window.

It depends on what he'd cost IMO, £5 million or so I'd take a punt. He is more of a flair player but he can pull the strings in CM as well as AM and if he played well for us he could provide the right balance over the next 2-3 years to bring the younger midfielders we have through like Powell and Januzaj rather than buying a 24 or 25 year old who is the finished article but would possibly hinder those younger players development (not that I'd complain if we got a good enough CM in). Anything more than £7 million though and it would probably not be worth it. It really depends what long term plan Moyes would have.

He says he doesn't wish to. Possibly looking back to Italy.

Yep. They must be needing another attacking midfielder right about now.
