Decent option. Good in the air, left footed so cover for Agger. With City short at the back, can't see him being let go though.

 

As Man City are short of CB's at the moment can't see them wanting to sell

 

Don't see us being interested in Lescott unless we were really ****ed for options. Not that he's bad, but he'd be another older CB who we'd just want to replace in a few years - which is what we got Toure for.

City don't want to get rid / can't afford to lose another CB either.

 

My only issue with Sakho is he's left footed... Might make him a little awkward with Agger... Or might not matter at all I suppose.

De Telegraaf reports that Ajax and Atletico Madrid have made a deal over Alderweireld. The newspaper also says Liverpool made a 5.5 million bid earlier this week but Technical director Marc Overmars shredded the offer. Alderweireld will be heading to Madrid today to undergo his medical this weekend.
