    If his sole intention is to piss Pardew off enough that he decides he's had enough and walks away, then yes I can see that being the case.

    I can't believe that even Mike Ashley is stupid enough to think that things would be any different with Joke In Ear at the helm as Pardew's replacement.

    Unless he thinks there is some other potential arse puppet out there who would: (a) take on the managers job here, (b) have Joke In Ear above you as DoF.

    Can't see it myself.

    Or, He has an interested buyer, at or around his asking price, but the buyer doesn't want Pardew and Ashley doesn't want to pay him off out of his own pocket?
    Pards walks, Kinnear ticks things over until the contracts signed then he's given the bullet with a pre-arranged golden handshake for considerably less than what pardew is due.
    Irrespective of the potential that Alan's pay off would likely amount to less than £5m anyway.

    This is what a Newcastle fans dreams have become... No league glory, no cup runs, no marquee signings. Just an overcomplicated theory on getting the rot out of the club.
