"Amazing to date!" - to date being the release date, eh?

Plus we're in the most watched league in the world, while you're one relegation away from playing part timers, so we've got more exposure. Sure does suck to be us, I bet we're all wishing we could be Portsmouth fans.

I can't even imagine his mother would have anything good to say about that kit.

I don't really give a toss about kits or the rivalry with Pompey, but it has to be said that kit is just absolutely dreadful!

You should know by now that I don't buy into the whole Southampton-Portsmouth rivalry nonsense beyond anything more than a bit of banter. And tbh, I liked your sash and last season's kit was alright too (particularly the away one) so if your kit is good, I'll say so.

From what I saw earlier it was a very small fire in the roof when one of the floodlights set alight, no-one was really in danger but obviously fair enough to take the precaution of evacuating the stadium.

I'm sorry Lapras, but you really can't get much more "chavvy" than this kit....the design looks like a bad shell suit popular with shaggy permed Scousers in the 1980s....:afro:

Also, it's interesting that Pompey were known as the "Shrimps" when they were formed, perhaps they could start using that moniker again given their lowly status in English Football...:emoticon-0116-evilg

Yeah I'm seeing reports of small fires in technical rooms, either way it wasn't a flare! <ok>

Dan Evans has beaten Tomic to go through into the third round at the US Tennis Open. By far his best result which has earnt him at least $92K. Did it 3.1 and looked excellent.

Not surprised. Don't want to wade in unless they absolutely have to.

What did they propose to wade in with anyway..? Is there anything left they haven't either cancelled, made redundant or inadequately armed, in any case..?

It was non-committal in terms of what type of action. I can understand the aversion to sending in troops, but surely something must be done.
