SSN trying to make out seeing Bale comeback from his holidays or walking round London is actual news. Also, how many times are they going to go to Madrid, and their reporter won't have any relevant information on the Bale situation to tell. What the **** is he doing there? Other than being on his jollys. Chelsea and Spurs are seemingly just collecting players. They seem to be bringing in players everyday. And most of the time they're not players they actually need, instead it's getting a player so nobody else can sign them. They must've spent over £100million each- you know when the game is ****ed when that happens.
It's the exact same every transfer window, there simply isn't enough going on to fill a 24 hour news problem (that includes all news not just sport) so they have to make stories seem way more interesting then they are and every tiny bit of anything fresh seem relevant. Unfortunately for them, most people that watch these things aren't fooled so turn over. Unfortunately for us though, most people that turn over will find themselves turning back to it to check that there hasn't actually been a new development that they've missed. Vicious circle.
If you think that SSN is bad now just wait until monday sept 2nd and the last 6 hours (5pm to 11pm). Jim White and Natalie Sawyer will be on Overdrive. Better have the fire service on speed dial.
Spurs have made quality signings, they may be losing Bale but they've strengthened pretty much everywhere on the pitch except at centre back, which they already have 3 really good centre backs (no idea about the 4th centre back that is going there). You can't really complain about Spurs spending this much when the majority is from the sale of Bale.
