He could have played Aluko or Brady as the main striker though, both can play there. Brucey is keeping team morale up by not upsetting anyone by dropping them. Good call probably.
We dropped him as we got Vito back, and he was allowed to be recalled because they had no sub keeper for the FA Cup Semi Final due to injuries.
We were lucky, he was recalled due to Liverpool having two keepers suspended, leaving them with only one senior keeper.
We dont have another option at the moment. Fryatt should never wear the shirt again after tuesday imo. Prozzy needs working with not bashing like many do. Manchester City without Kompany are poor at the back as Cardiff showed last week. Can see Elmohamady, Brady and Aluko causing them many problems and Graham could well benefit from this. Quinn off the bench helps.
That's the way I see it. Hope he gets into the game tomorrow and shows us what he can actually do. If not get him off and put Brady and Aluko up front.
Well the opposite applies, how can you have so much faith considering what we and sunderland fans have seen? I hope he proves me wrong, he can score goals but I'm not sure about his attitude and motivation. Seemed to be flailing his arms a lot and giving up on balls if they weren't perfect.
