MrBoywunder ‏@MrBoywunder 2m Liverpool remain keen on a loan deal for Victor Moses. (Daily Mail)
14.41 BST: Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz is close to completing his move to Lazio. We're just awaiting official confirmation which should filter through soon. Also an update on the deals at Spurs. Lamela and Chiriches have completed their medicals, and now they wait for Eriksen to complete his so the deals can be announced. Could have done with him too. :/
14.38 BST: DONE DEAL! Manchester United have loaned young striker Angelo Henriquez to Real Zaragoza for the season.
14.00 BST: According to Football-Italia, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has flown to France in an effort to sign Mamadou Sakho from Paris Saint-Germain. Meanwhile, Sky Italia report that Liverpool are close to agreeing a deal for the France defender. Seems there is quite a race to sign the 23-year-old now. Ahh not another one, please FSG/BR!!!
Ya but isn't that what you normally do in a transfer window? Only thing is that Bale allowed them to get about 4 top top players in just to break even, the rest is just spenditure which is normal. Seriously just given a new team because Perez wants to win a presidency for ****S SAKE!!!!!
Well this ****ing hurts, if true, the most of all of the spurs ones.... 12.48 BST: Speaking of Eriksen, SportsDirect News go as far as saying that Spurs have agreed a £10.7 million deal with Ajax for the transfer of the Denmark international.....................................................................................
How do spurs get signigns wrapped up so ****ing quickly and without being ripped off? Everyone says IRL isn't like fantasy football, but then Spurs bloody sell one player and on the back of that bring in Capoue, Paulinho, Lamela, Eriksen, Chiriches, Soldado and Chadli..., and none have seemed particularly overpriced and any one of those players would have been an immediate improvement to our first team imho.
It is frustrating, it easy to say City and Chelsea have the $$$ but you can't deny how Spurs have gone about it and will probably only spend some 20 mil total when all is said and done. It helps Real are spunking the world record on Bale but even before this year, they tie things up and don't overpay for the most part. Levy makes Ayre look schoolboy.
Personally think that by having an experienced and competent DoF makes a big difference. It's no coincidence that most of the biggest and best performing clubs around Europe have a DoF in place.
yup their net spend to date is around 72. Eriksen plus Chiriches will probably bring it to around 90mil. So pretty much net even this summer
