That is exactly why I picked Brady and Harper. One scored, the other didn't concede. Can't say anything for the rest of the squad.
What about Alfred Hitchcock and David Beckham? Or Elvis Costello for singing Pills n Thrills & Bellyaches?
Speaking of Humberside, some caller just said that Bruce will be gone by Christmas. What a berk. He's probably the safest manager in the league.
Haven't been posting much, got a lot on my hands at the moment. I even had a ticket booked for this match but couldn't go so my brother went instead with the kids. I text him asking for a basic summary of performances to post on here and he gave a very detailed description of each player's individual performance (do take time to note the added detail into McLean's performance though). The text read: "McLean is ****e."
Obviously I wasn't there so can't vote but surely Brady deserves MOM for scoring the winning goal after being on the pitch for less than two minutes, compared to the ineptitude of Fryatt, McLean etc who couldnt score in over 100 minutes. Brady and Aluko are the only two on our books who have the speed and skill to trouble the Man City defense on Saturday. Looks like a no-brainer for SB to me. Graham and Fryatt...no thanks.
I (as I'm sure many others felt) was that Hitchcocks contribution was far, far too tense. However, both Burnsie and Swanny text'd me saying that Fanny Craddock's half-time pie and gravy followed by creme brulee were bloody worldy! Am undecided about about Beckams contribution. Methinks he was distracted thinking about the ££££ he'd make from his next advertisement. His crosses were off par eh? The lass sitting in the stairwell did ok tho. Methinks Jonathon Woss might be a good impact player vs Citeh tho? He could witter them to buggery! UTT!!!
1. The girl who was hanging out the window the whole game. 2. The post. Didnt it have a save at some point? 3. Burnsy
Mclean wasn't played as a striker until late in the game, he's never going to cut it at this level, but it's hardly his fault he didn't score last night.
1. Brady (even playing only a few minutes, a different class) 2. Rosenior - stood out by looking competent 3. McShane - for caring
The kid/ bloke who made that flag with the white telephone box on it. The picture was doing the rounds on twitter last night.
Thanks. But i was down south anyway so it was easy for me. Anyone who missed it was very lucky. Thankfully the result is all that matters. 1) McShane (head n shoulders above them all) 2) Bruce 3) Townsend (just edged out Meyler) gave it a go when he came on. Special mention to Brady for ending the pain with his XT goal.
