This is true. Bale out and Eriksen, Chiriches, Lamela in and we 8 homegrown (the minimum) and 17 overseas. Assuming, however, we sell Benny, Ade and possibly Gomes we could free up some extra spaces, but selling any home grown will result in a squad of less than 25 unless we bring home grown in.

Firstly that we bid 7m Secondly that utd would sell him Fourthly that utd would sell him to us (with all these new players etc Chelsea see us as a threat) Fifthly that utd would sell him at this stage of the Transfer window (they must have someone lined up) sixthly that his price is only 15m What are we waiting for!

Yeah, doesn't make sense to me. Maybe United will go after Benzema again though. He seems like their kind if striker as he can play out wide too. I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if this is all bollocks.
Would Hernandez leave the Utd bench for ours? Fantastic striker but I doubt we'd play him over Soldado so I'm not sure he'd want to swap Utd for us when there's a good chance we can't really offer him much more.
I'm hearing rumours that we will sign a deal with Nike for our stadium. The Nike stadium/arena has a nice ring to it. The Nike $$$$$$$$$'s will have an even nicer ring to it!
If Hernadez believes that we are the future of the Prem and that United will wane under Moyes (forgive the unintended pun!), then I can see that he might see our bench as the better choice.

Not wanting to sound pessimistic but the dutch league had players like Bony and Alitodore who are goal machines, not to mention in recent years utter trash like Alfonso Alves scoring more goals then games, something ridiculous like 45 goals in a season. So I would expect if Eriksen is even half decent, to have great stats but when buying from the dutch league, its one of the risky leagues to sign players from, mainly because their woeful defending allows average players to make a name for themselves. I just hope this guy turns out to be another VDV or Suarez (in terms of quality) and not a Dennis Rommedahl (who also had great stats in the dutch league)
Congratulations with the Eriksen signing, although it isn't certain yet. I live in the Netherlands and Ajax is my club. Eriksen is our biggest talent.. Now, why won't you guys let us take Lewis Holtby, would be great for us
