Your favourite comeback ever? (NOT including the 4-4 vs Arsenal)

  1. Obviously our all time favourite is the 4-4, but in all the games you've watched, which comeback is most memorable to you?

Mine definitely has to be this one -

I can remember watching it as a young lad, i was in awe. Only 12 years old, couldn't believe my eyes, and i wasn't even that much into football as a 12 year old.

Sadly it would have be the 1999 Champions League final. Just for how quickly it all turned round and it meant England sticking it to the Germans.

Instabul was just insane. As much as I hate Liverpool, that was unreal.

That Spurs game is ridiculousl - down to 10 men and still coming from 3-0 down to win.

That one stands out for me too. Really entertaining, exciting game. Didn't begrudge the bindippers their victory that day.

Would have said Everton v Man Utd 2004, but then the bastards went and scored a winner (Saha of all people), or Newcastle @ Liverpool 1997, but Robbie Fowler had other ideas, so 3-1 down with 20 minutes to go at Leeds in 2001 it is, the day Solano became a legend.

Not that I particularly enjoyed it but it was a stunning comeback :

Middlesbrough 4-2 Steau Bucharest and the smoggies won 4-3 on aggregate.

Was 0-2 and 0-3 on aggreagate before Boro achieved the unbelievable by scoring 4 times to win 4-3 on aggregate.

Although they really ****ed up in the final against Sevilla <laugh>

Favourite NUFC comeback : Haven't experienced too many but probably Fulham 2-3 Newcastle.

0-2 down after 8 minutes it looked like we might get thrashed.

But one legend won it all by himself : Alan Shearer , setting up one and scoring the other two.

Forgot to add Leeds away in 2001.

    What drama.
