If you are describing his last few months this season, then fair enough. However, over the course of the season he was our 2nd best player and was the most productive winger. If he can just get his head right and do it all season long, he will be unstoppable!
Is that not sort of three words though, given that it's an abbreviation and does not appear in the Oxford English Dictionary? Just saying is all
Yes, when is our season tour? If Nani is not sold by then he will stay but the papers well the mirror are saying Utd won't accept less than 40m, which is ridiculous as no team will pay that. It seems to me that because Young is leaving there is some sort of belief that signals Nani is leaving because he has been dropped lately. However, Nani has said himself he will stay and has begged Berbatov to stay on as well. I believe he wants to stay and if Young joins it could inhibit his playing time or inhibit Valencias if Young and Nani started to inter change well.
A season is a long time and I prefer to look at the positives from the signing of Young. That is that in Young, Valencia and Nani (not to mention Park and Giggs) we would have great options down the flanks and if someone dipped in form (as Nani did last season) we would have an alternative available and be able to take him out of the firing line.
Nani 100x times better than young. Nani was one of the reasons we won the title. Nani is the only player in our squad who can beat a player. Nani can use both foots.
Nani was crap in the last few months of last season too. You forgot to mention that. You guys are far too hard on Young, yet the stats don't lie. He's a top class winner and English (helps with the current rules) to boot. Ticks all the right boxes for me. Yes, Nani is better imo but he does tend to have extended periods where he is awful. It wouldn't be bad to have Young to step in when that happens, would it?
You must be a plastic fan for slating our best player this season, and saying Young would suit United? Young is overatted, has nothing more to his game compared to walcoot. Look what happened to Milner? Wasn't everyone calling him to Join utd?
You are clearly a WUM. Otherwise, you'd have watched United and realised that Vidic was our best player this season. I didn't call for Milner to join United as he was always average. You probably did want him to join United though, given that you don't support us. And Young has more assists than any other player in the Premier League in the last 4 years, bar the exceptional Barca-bound Fabregas. He's a good player. Certainly a better option than the flat track bully that is Samir Nasri.
Are you actually a United fan or just a glory supporter, clearly you don't follow United. If you think Young is suited for United, then you might aswell go support City, there you will have Barry and Milner to admire. Nani won us alot of games single handed, when Valencia was injured. If not why was he voted for the player of the year? It wasn't a conicidence than when Valencia came back Nani's form started to dip. What's Nani's best position?Last time I heard he was a right winger, but was shifted out on the left to accomodate Valencia. P.S. Really go support City.
And if you were a United supporter, you'd realise that Nani's form dipped before Valencia returned and whilst he was still playing on the right. But let's not let facts get in the way of idiocy. You should probably also realise that the fact that 2 average players who were overrated by the English media and moved to City from Villa failed, has nothing to do with Young's ability. But no, your intellect consists of Barry - Villa - bad, Milner - Villa - bad, therefore Young - Villa - bad. Sorry, but that is how simplistic your views appear to me.
I'm sorry, you're clearly a glory supporter...I guess you haven't see much of Man U's games to know the truth. Nani in bad form? Before Valencia's return he scored a amazing goal vs City, and games which folllowed on, although didn't score he was still very good and effective. The media hypes up Young because he has a few good games in a England shirt and several good performances for a average villa team, your intellect must be limited if you belive young is a world beater. Saying Nasri is usless? I'm sorry he is technically alot better than young and is not all about power and pace. If you don't know football, don't pretend you do as you're just making yourself look stupid.
Yeah he performed well, whilst cutting inside and hitting the ball into Row Z. I agree. Definitely. His team play was excellent . And I do know football. That's why I can say with supreme confidence that Nasri would not improve our team and I haven't jumped onto the "he wants to play for us, he plays for Arsenal, we'll get one over them by signing him" bandwagon. There are numerous better options out there. Including Ashley Young.
Not sure. Nolhman supports Man United. Corbo hasn't said anything that convinces me he follows our team. Load of hot air.
If your're a real fan and not plastic, you'd realise Young is not a signing United would make. For the price we could get young for, we could get other technically better wingers like Sanchez. What your saying is suggesting that you're discarding all the technically gifted players, over more direct players with power and pace such as Young. See how out of depth Valencia was vs Barca? When Nani came on, he was more of a threat compared to Valencia over 90mins. Well, I guess I can expect nothing more from a glory supporter like you, wanting thier club to sign all overhyped English players.
When Nani came on, he set up a goal for Barca within SECONDS! But you, of course, chose to ignore that. And as for the power and pace comment, are you kidding me? Young is built like a twig. He does have pace and he is direct which, last I checked, aren't negative characteristics, but he also has a terrific end product. That's why I think he'd do a good job for United or any other team. Goals win games and Young creates and scores them in abundance. As for Sanchez, I haven't seen him play much so can't comment on how good he is. I doubt if you have either mind, given that you just seem to spout the popular opinion. Sanchez is flavour of the month and not many were imploring us to sign him a year ago.
