Can see the new thread already - Keep Prossie at Hull. Another 117 pages of banter and witticism (or mostly drivel?).
I wonder how much they'll get back of the £2.6m? As we said at the time, a big gamble, and it didn't pay off. Whereas Vardy, at less than 40% of the price, has turned out to be a cracking signing. Conclusion: Nige>Bruce English Non-league >German Bundesliga 2 I rest my case.
The thing is even if Vardy turned out to be **** which he did it was only 1M. We signed him in more hope then expectation where as they expected Prossie to come in and continue where he left off. 2.6M was a very sizeable dent in their budget. Vardy looks a completely different player this season. He still has alot to work on in his game but he is heading in the right direction
I'd say they'd both be worth around 500k. Although if Vardy keeps his current form up, he'll be worth double if not triple the original price come the end of the season.
Pearson > Bruce. Pahahahahahahahahahahahahaha you must be kidding. AKCJ the only person on here who talks a bit sense.
Bruce got it wrong on prossie. However, he got it right on the others and we won promotion. So, I honestly couldn't give a flying ****. i am still following your board cause I enjoyed reading the banter last year. Is it time to move on from Prossie now?
Nope. Some of you lot built him up so high he still hasnt hit the ground Prossie failed spectacularly The funniest thing is IUTBJF made this thread about a week into the season. He write him off straight away and it went on from there Good judgement from JF
He wrote him off without seeing him. anybody can guess at someone being good or a failure. Anyway, the end result was we got promoted so I don,t give a monkeys.
Thats judgement He had no faith in Steve Bruce's scouting network. When we signed Knockaert we knew he would be class because Steve Walsh scouted him
Look, prossie is full of goals, he just does not know how to get them out.. that is just a minor flaw.. when that dam bursts look out! ACHTUNG! DIVE FOR COVER..
When are you going to replace him with someone who's capable of building on his good groundwork then?
He'll be allowed to finish his job with us. WE won't have a problem with a bigger club coming in for him.
Just wait till we're linked with him on loan to replace the deadline day departure of Wood to crystal palace!!
The chances are remote, but this is the kind of thread that can blow up in a person's face by something like that happening.
