Don't know much about him, but he's apparently left footed, plays right wing, fast, strong and direct.
Don't think he scored but was their man of the match, Independent's player rating said: "Andriy Yarmolenko: A constant thorn in England’s side. Involved in almost every Ukraine attack and always looked as though he would be the one to engineer any kind of breakthrough."
if you look at totten ham now.. loris walker dawson vertonghen rose Eriksen sandro Dembele Paulinho Lamela Soldado now you tell me about thier bench freidel, kabul if ever fit, sigurdson, capoue, defoe, lennon, naughton just to name a few. now you tell me thats not a better team without bale and you tell me that lfc can compete this year. eriksen <luagh> those doubting will be groaning when they see him playing in white.... its time to ****e or get off the pot round europe.... lets see who bids for him before tottenham get him. the only point of caution for spurs is they must be paying huge wages here so the simply must get CL to pay those wages... if they do they are quids in.
My first comment was actually a piss take but then rolled with it I have said all summer that we need another CB. However, I have also said we need to move one or two on first because of the numbers we have for that position! Coates and Skrtel are rightly not rated by BR. Everyone can see they are not wanted yet they both remain at the club, what does that tell you? (I know Seb is injured now but there was the best part of two months to get a deal done before that happened) I know the five (six with Chadli) look better but I think that is a purely a numbers thing. Not one of them is going to influence a game or have the same impact that Bale does. However, what it does do is spread the responsibility. It is well documented that Spurs were **** when Bale was missing, having six quality players instead of one world class player is obviously better over the course of a season but perhaps they'll struggle a little more in the bigger games? They definitely have a better squad but they can still only put eleven players on the pitch at one time
You have them lined up wrong. Eriksen isn't a winger and Lamela can be, plus AVB is a 4231/433 fan. Using the eleven you chose: Loris Walker - Dawson - Vertonghen - Rose Sandro - Dembele Eriksen - Paulinho - Lamela Soldado or Loris Walker - Dawson - Vertonghen - Rose Paulinho - Sandro Dembele - Eriksen - Lamela Soldado Walker and Rose to provide the width although I think Ekoutte (sp) is better than Rose.
Don't think AVB is a fan of BAE which is why he rarely plays, plus he was injured a lot last season. I do rated Rose through, played very well for Sunderland last season.
Yeah, I'd noticed but I think he's better at present. Rose will become better within a season or two though
Think it'll be more like: -------Soldado Chadli--Eriksen--Lamela ---Capoue-Paulinho Although there's room to swap Capoue with one the central pair and Dembele, Gylfi and Lennon can cover the attacking midfield three. Looks pretty impressive but there will be a lot of pressure on them to succeed, if for whatever reason they don't make top four for a couple more seasons how many of these high profile players are going to want to stick around? Edit: got there a little late with this one...
Vlad Chiriches from Steaua Bucharest. Scored against Chelsea last season in the Europa League. Just flown into Heathrow. Have a laugh at his missus: please log in to view this image
Kaboul is almost back as well. I expect him to start on Thursday for us. He has already played a bit in a couple of matches this season. Dawson, Vertonghen, Kaboul and Chiriches is pretty strong. We are as amazed as you are with our spending this summer it's been incredible. Although I will wait till these "signings" are in Spurs shirts on the official website before I get too excited!
