Will we sign ANYONE before the transfer window closes?

I voted yes, just can't see the club not doing the neccessary business.

Have to say though that Gomis hardly excites me.

I do think we'll sign a player that we've not been linked to at all, we've done that a lot under Ashley.

We will get one person in but Christ knows who he will be and what position. I said before it will probably be a young keeper just to piss off the fans a little more and give a ready made excuse of depth to sell Krul in January.

 

I said when Long signed for West Brom we should have signed him. Hes a good honest player.

He is hard working, moves into space, strong on the ball and scores goals.

But at 12 million I cannot see it happening.

We will IMO sign some loan players. I honestly think if we where to sign players for value we would have done so by now.

Answer is no. Even though admittedly I'm clinging onto the very faint hope that there is at least 1 signing, be it Darren ****ing Bent, Paul ****ing Scharner or Shefki Kuqi. At the very least , bring back Kieron Dyer from retirement.

 

Get the sinking feeling the Cabaye "saga" is going to somehow, miraculously take up everyone's time until 3rd September....
