I know Erik Lamela is a striker/midfielder but what position do you think he will be in for Spurs (how would he fit in the team)?
Pleased to see them all signed. But don't forget the wages, that's what an extra £9/10m a year? Though it's true that's comfortably covered by the extra TV money. I guess it's all about who else we sign now. It'll probably be a 'fee neutral' window or thereabouts, but with an extra wage bill, so we'll still be pretty much breaking even I guess, in light of increased revenue. But for once I won't complain, as long as we get another keeper in.
so going by our same squad from our las premier league game against Swansea, I guess he would be replacing Andros Townsend then...? (guess Lennon is going to have very few starts then)
I don't know if this has been mentioned, but did any of you lot know that Lamela does the heart celebration the same as Bale?
We've got Parker, Gallas, Huddlestone and Bentley off the wage bill JPG don't forget, we're probably not spending much more.

First read: does the same heart condition as Bale? It scared the **** out of me, needed a second read to get it
I really hope Lamela doesn't replace Townsend, that'll be very unfair on Andros. Of course rotation is fine, but also I'd rather see Lamela replace Dembele or Chadli at times and jig things around accordingly. Probably all, plus Lennon will get plenty of chances. I just hope Andros starts v Arsenal.
please log in to view this image We should give him the number 11, too. In other news, Ajax director Marc Overmars has confirmed (probably through gritted teeth) that we've been given permission to discuss terms with Christian Eriksen. Seems a deal is likely to be struck with Ajax and there are just a few details to iron out.
Dissapointed in Bale not turning up for training, just shows all the rumours about him not talking where true as it fits in with a player who will show no respect to the club for a transfer to go through, especially as I've been defending Bale and said he wouldn't give us a bit of trouble. At least Rooney is playing for the club and isn't trying to force a move through to chelsea so you have to respect him for that.
he also confirmed that Levy was there today. This story has massive legs. Vetonghen must be helping the situation too. Him and Christian are good mates, apparently.
It's funny, out of the three main transfer stories of the summer - Rooney, Suarez and Bale - Who would've thought that Bale would turn out to be the biggest dick of them all when it comes to showing the least amount of respect to their club.
