Even with Bristol City (2-1 vs Palace) and Burton (2-1 vs Fulham in extra time) taking out PL opposition tonight, can we really look beyond P'boro 6-0 Reading for the biggest shock, especially with Reading playing what looks a really strong side?
I must apologise to Burton, I really have been the kiss of death tonight. I commented (on here or elsewhere) on Leicester trailing to Amoo's goal, Sunderland trailing to MK Dons, Notts County having the momentum when they came back to 2-2, Burton "knocking out" Fulham, Billy Paynter putting Donny back on track to beat Leeds, and how Dunfermline could repeat their weekend exploits (they won 5-4 away from home having been 4-2 down with 7 minutes left) when they came back to 1-1 against Falkirk tonight.
Upsets for tonight? There's coin to be made with the league cup. Get a few doubles/trebles right on underdogs and small stakes can go a long way.
Biggest upset for me was Liverpool not getting knocked out, although I haven't cried, I am still upset.
You did better than Lee Clark then, who cried over Yeovil's equaliser. "I was brought up to play fair" wah wah wah
This was after Yeovil also made amends by allowing them to equalise in extra-time by standing aside whilst Novak walked it into the net.
Why did they wait until later, when they were ahead in the game to give a goal back? I agree with Clark really.
