What about the reserves? Is he playing? If so I never hear of him scoring. I seriously doubt he'll ever play for us again unless he somehow performs a miracle in training/reserve game.

Judging by SB's comments, I don't think he's in any doubt about Mr Proschwitz. If he had any doubts before last night, he hasn't now.

After listening to Brucey's interview last night, I think Prozzy is finished.

Big problem is that if you sell those three you would be lucky to clear £1m for the lot. We need a premiership striker who will score goals consistently, that's going to cost a lot more than £1m. When you look at Danny Graham being valued at £5m you realise we either have to buy from overseas (unknown, untested at Premiership level), get very lucky, or spend a lot more.

Our best bet is probably a loan, but then we'd have to convert an existing loan to a "purchase" (Livermore for £3.5m if he is prepared to make a permanent move) or "return" one (Graham back to Sunderland with a "Thanks but No Thanks")

So my guess is we'll take a punt on a proven Premiership striker who is going cheap because of "baggage". Odemwinge anyone?

I think we should send him out to a championship team on loan so he gets the game time, you never know he may have adapted by the time he comes back to us

Nobody in the Championship wants him.

    I can't blame them either.

You don't need a year to judge a player 3/4 weeks and you know if he is good enough, with Nick SB as give him a lot longer simply to get used to this country however how long do you wait, I would get rid and a few others with him but of course some who are not good enough for the premiership are now on to much money for the championship

turner took 1/2 season to show what he was capable of but prossie is a fanny and has been told as much by Bruce to man up or do one

I've said in the past on these boards that I think Prossy would suit the Prem. But after last night's game I don't think he'll suit the Championship now, it's a shame because we've had flashes of what he can do but we can't really afford to give him time in the Prem. Pity.

Clearing the wages is around £2.5M we'd have available to spend.

We can loan a foreign based player.

Now we just need to find one.

Got to agree here. What do you expect when you throw in 11 players that have never played as a team before. They are always going to struggle.

What do they do in bloody training, surely they must have some gelling & working out how they'll play, I really don't understand how players who have scored at Championship level & performed well, can't beat a team 2 divisions lower than where we are, yes you can argue that Orient are on a good run, but FFS, these players should be busting their balls to get a game against the clubs in the PL. I'm not going to blame the management because for years we have successfully failed in cup competitions, even when we reached the 1/4's & lost to Arsenal in the FA Cup when Brownie was here, we were still lucky to get through to that stage.
Should we blame the managers over the years, what's their team talk to motivate them, "you're all **** & really we're just putting out a team to make up the numbers!"
I doubt it, surely these players will be told to go out ere & show the manager what they can do, or are they just really 'Football Manager' players who never listen to you no matter what you say?

Sell? Money raised? Seriously, out of those 3 how are we going to raise money? We might get £200k back to a German club for Prossie but that's the absolute max we'll get combined for the 3 of them.

£1m?!?! You're either having a laugh, deluded or very, very hopeful.

I would pick him over Graham any day, more so now that twat di canio has more or less indicated that he will recall him if his starts scoring.

Is Boyd another one who's failing to meet expectations ? He hardly got a mention in the commentary last night. I thought he was supposed to be a play-maker feeding the lads up front ?

I thought he looked comfortable when he came on on Saturday. He'll have his part to play this year I'm sure.

Yeah, it's no excuse for lacklustre performances, but you see it time and again with all teams. Throw together fringe players and they struggle.

Also probably shows up some of these players are pretty mediocre.

His is failing to meet expectations when he plays in bloody centre mid. He looked lively enough when he came on and played out wide. I think there is too much competition for places to expect to see him just behind the strikers any time soon.
