I used to respect sky sports, but ever since they realised that "deadline day" was a massive opportunity to create the longest TV programme to fill 1 single day, they've sold themselves to the devil. They talk utter ****e now and have no credibility whatsoever ever. They are in the same bracket as talksport now. Absolute scum.
Is bale not turning up and not training making him as bad as Modric? Just because Modric said things and Bale has said nothing, doesn't mean he can get away lightly IMO. Actions speak louder than words, or certainly as loudly. He's supposedly never going to train again, yet he's paid to. I have a feeling that many fans are going to end up having Bert different feelings towards bale very very soon. At the moment, I wish him well and love the guy. But the next few days could change the minds of many who feel the same as me, I reckon.
I'm taking it all with a pinch of salt until someone at Spurs says something. Everything i've ever heard about Levy suggests that going on strike is not the correct course of action Must be autocorrect. Roo must use the word Bert a lot
He's contracted to THFC, has not gone against their wishes at all so far, and I do not believe he's started to now. Levy as ever is the at the centre of this saga, so on his actions only will I take any notice. Till then, Sky sources (notorious epic fails!) can fill their programme with ****e as normal when there's nothing factual happening.
i actually think the deal has been done and that is why he isn't at training. We are just waiting for incomings before the announcement is made.
Its that, or preparing a new one for us for one more season, if Levy has got the 'ump with RM at the last minute. If Bale goes, I look forward to Levy's explanation as to why he changed tack from the beginning of the summer, "Bale not for sale at 'any' price".
I would think because he was faced with Bale and his Agent wanting to go. Shame you can't just transfer the agent.
My point is he should know that can happen after the Modric episode, so why utter an empty claim...again! I thought he always meant what he said.
its to drive the price up. Tell the world how unwilling we are to sell. If he hadn't the opening bid would have probably been £40m rising to £50m but if all reports are to be believed we're gonna end up with something more like £80-90m.
The other option is Levy saying: Bale, I know this past few months has been stressful, and I know I've caused some of that stress. Have a week off. Come back nice and refreshed. "Stress" is the new "foot injury"
I think there are at least ten plausible takes on the situation, and I'm not going to castigate anyone at Spurs over it, until a little more 'certainty' in the matter arises. It may well be that, as the saga plays out, no-one at Spurs will be at fault, then again ...
Pushes up the price notso. and it shows he is always ready to walk away from the negotiations and that is the best place to be in any deals.
Lol, it was meant to be "very"! Not Bert! Using the not606 app which is built for iPhone 4&4s, which has a smaller screen display than that I am used to on the iPhone 5. I constantly miss the "space" bar aswell!
Nothing of consequence that Bale can say (wherever that is from) until the transfer window closes. The bottom line is Spurs are willing to sell to Madrid, and Bale is willing to go there if both clubs agree terms.
Mirror spin, but I did miss this, unhappy Ozil could be bad news, it'll be even more bad news if the Goons end up with him or Mata...god forbid both! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenals-mesut-ozil-transfer-hopes-2231157 Todays Mirror spiel looks better, Ozil wanting 200 large a week! lol
