So Lennon's claim that we'd have one player signed on Monday and another by Wednesday was just another load of utter bollocks then.

If any other company treated their customers the way the Celtic board does they would shop elsewhere. They're just abusing the fan's loyalty.

Lennon also said our failure to sign players was not because he wasn't getting backed by the board. It was widely reported that Hooper would have signed on if given parity with the tap earners....That is a signing right there that didn't get the backing of the board.

£27 to watch them play St Mirren or Partick Thistle. Don't mind having "mug" tattooed across my napper.

Until Scottish football is actually value for money I'll no be going to games regularly. Simple as that.

I was actually thinking about going to this game, but after the club has made so much from selling players and charging me £50 for the Juve game and not sufficiently re-invested I decided **** that.

I think you've clicked on the wrong game. They're £10 for the charity match in a few weeks time.

The upper tier of the North Stand is sold out tonight (except for the corners), and even there the cheapest ticket is £12 for U13s.

So the price WAS £25/£20 for season books (when BD and me bought one), it went to £10 when you checked, and now it's gone back up to the original price? <laugh>

    "B]NIR BITON: SCOUT REPORT[/B]
The latest news out of reputable Israeli media outlet Sport 5 are regarding Nir Biton’s potential transfer to Celtic – with relevations that Ashdod owner Jackie Ben Zaken is on his way to Scotland to finalise a €1 million deal with Celtic holding 80% of all future sales of the player and 20% being kept by the Israeli club. This fee equates to roughly£850,000, a figure close to that of Wanyama from Belgium outfit Beerschot AC.

Biton is widely regarded as the next great player coming out of Israel who can make a massive impact on the European stage since Yossi Benayoun & Eyal Berkovic and Celtic may be his first stop!

The Ashdod FC defensive midfielder would be a perfect replacement for the recently departed Victor Wanyama and could easily fit into the big shoes he has since left behind. A former team mate of Biton’s in Ashdod and current Celtic Efe Ambrose has been rallying the club to pick up this potential star and feels he would be a great fit for the Scottish Champions.

Biton was born in Ashdod and is 1.96 m, but needs to put on some weight as he is still filling out his 21 year old body. He captained the Under-21 squad that just competed in his home country and led the team to a 1-0 victory over England in the final group stage match and was just recalled to the senior team for Israel’s upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Azerbejan & Russia.

Playing for Ashdod since 2009, Biton has 142 appearances and has scored 14 goals in that time – never afraid to jump up into the play when his club is applying offensive pressure.

Manchester City decided to give the young gun a trial both in January & July of 2012 and would have liked to have him back this summer but he picked up an injury after the U-21 tourney that kept him out of preseason action for Ashdod as well.

Biton reads the game very well and has a 6th sense knowing to be in the right place at the right time. He has an excellent view of opponents attackers and can be counted on the pitch and off it as well. A mild mannered youngster will look up to his peers for advice and will be a welcome addition to manager Neil Lennon’s crop. The Israeli international will definitely have to bulk up in order to be able to handle the larger Scottish League strikers, but his game sense will help compensate for that during his first season. Update: A four year deal has been agreed and a medical has now been arranged as of 28/08/13.

If the deal is finalized and Celtic is Nir Biton’s stop, the hoops supporters will not be disappointed
