Have to say at the moment I'm bored of the Cabaye saga, I'm bored of our toothless displays, I'm bored of Pardew's pre/post match interviews, I'm bored of all the pointless paper talk about potential signings, I'm bored of our actual lack of signings and I'm just bored of Newcastle United in general.

I need the manager, players and/or club to do something to make me ethused about our club again as whilst I was disappointed and a bit downbeat that we didn't get the three points against West Ham at home, it just didn't hurt as much as it should or as much as I'd want it to (if that makes sense). I'm guessing the reason for this is that for the first time in a long time I just don't have any hope or optimism about our season and I 100% didn't expect us to win at the weekend.

I hope to god that Pardew, Kinnear & Ashley can do something to revive said hope over the next 6 days by bringing in a few much need players and by getting a result on the pitch tomorrow night.

I think that most of us know just how you feel.

A bit like having the breath sucked out of your body.

It's called apathy. Mr. Ashley doesn't think it exists.

I think everyone is just bored sick of the whole situation.
You have to dig deep to find anything positive even if you don't really believe it.
I'm going to miss a few games and as it stands I'm not sure if it'll bother me or not.

Roll on the end of the Transfer Window and at least we will know where we are player wise.
It won't solve the Pardew situation, which will probably rumble on along with MA/JFK, but at least its one less issue to continually bleat on about.

Continue to be bored my friend. There will be no signings seeing as Joke said we are strong enough now for a top ten finish. Yes there will be rumours ie we bid for him and him and him but the goal posts were moved each time, thats the tactic to keep us interested but nothing is really happening. Apart from Ashley taking out another 30mill to repay some of the debt that we owe him. Think I wouls settle for 17th spot if I am honest. We cant even buy a goal at the moment. Just have to hope there are 3 teams worse than us.

Agree totally with you here. If Ashley forced us to play in red and white stripes with a pink tutu over the top I really wouldn't bat an eyelid.
I fully expect him to come onto the centre circle at half time one day to pull off his mask, Scooby Doo villain style and reveal he is actually Peter Reid, before throwing bananas into the crowd and pedalling off into the sunset on a penny farthing.

I expect Krul and HBA to be transferred too, with no one coming in.
Longer term we will get relegated this year for sure.
Just can't see us winning a single game.

my enthusiasm for the season vanished after about 10 mins against man city

I've come to the conclusion that all this is a ploy by Ashley and co for pardew to walk, hence why no backing in this window, when he does Ashley will bring in someone else (j f k) and will spend just enough in Jan to keep us up

I'm pretty sure Ashley has a 2 or 3 year exit strategy in place. His accelerated restructuring of his own repayments would lay claim to this being the case. There's no other reason for sticking with Pardew or hiring Kinnear. His sudden interest in loan deals also adds weight to that claim - I mean, why now? Why all of a sudden be happy with temporary signings? He has no interest in chasing success now, or long term investments - his success was achieved in getting £60m into pretty much his own pocket from the TV deal. He'll do enough to keep us up, I would imagine. But I think he's close to turning a profit on the sale of the club and, really, that's all he wants.

Not being funny, he's found some decent players, but what's happened to our chief scout? Since last season and particularly since Kinnear's arrived, we've been after the same 2 players and have no backup plans at all. To compound that misery, I don't even like our "A" plans in the first place, not really sure either Bent or Gomis are really that good.

OMG! I read that and thought - that's exactly how I feel! It's the most depressed I've felt about NUFC since Fat Sam was in charge. That sinking feeling you get on your walk up to SJP about how badly your team were gonna play and KNOWING you were fighting for a draw at best.
