Shame the club doesn't ask for the maximum tickets allowed

Might cost MA a few quid if we don't sell them all. We always do of course.

I remember going to the likes of Old tafford and taking about 17,000 with us
(iknow we have taken more to OT, but that was for the semi-finals)
Leeds and Sheff Wed were good days, taking over 12,000..... and those were the days when we never got a point away from home

Gave Accrington Stanley thier best gate ever too.

Quite enjoyed that trip, nice little club bar that we were welcome to use.

Good comments from Pards. It is a senior team and should win. Of course there are shocks but its a game they should win.

Pardew: ''He (Sammy) came on Saturday and it wasn’t to a great ovation. But I thought he put a great little cameo in. He has definitely moved up a level. Now he needs to put in 90 minutes. Then suddenly we might look at Sammy and think he should be in the team.''

Be just like a new signing I guess. If a team of seniors mean Obertan, the Ameobi brothers, Williamson, etc I can't really say I'm that confident. I just hope there is some sort of tactical reserve on the bench tonight

Good starting? Gouffran on his own up front? Interesting.

    Full team is:

Newcastle United (4-2-3-1): Rob Elliot; Mathieu Debuchy, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa (c), Curtis Good, Paul Dummett; Gael Bigirimana, Dan Gosling; Sammy Ameobi, Haris Vuckic, Sylvain Marveaux; Yoan Gouffran
Substitutes: Jak Alnwick, Davide Santon, Remie Streete, Vurnon Anita, Moussa Sissoko, Hatem Ben Arfa, Shola Ameobi

Pleased with that line up. A good mix of youth and first teamers, should be interesting to see what they can do. Hopefully they can seize their chance. I reckon Vuckic will do some good stuff this evening.

It'll be nice to see a bit more of Dummett and Vuckic, not to mention Bigi. It'll also be interesting to see how Good does. Hopefully Debuchy uses the extra minutes to get himself a bit more composed.

Shola can't play more than once per week because of his gammy hip.

2:0 to you lot; second string players will take the pressure off... also mitigates against some of the comeback if this proves to be a banana skin for you. Pardew might not have a lot of tactical nous but when it comes to finding excuses he twists and turns like a twisty-turny thing.
