    Marvin Elliot was brilliant tonight.
There are some fools on here who haven't got a clue.

Bobby Read was outstanding. WTF SOD was thinking about starting with Kilkenny this season, we'll never know.
He also didn't start the season with Marv, then dropped him after scoring a brilliant goal at Northampton. Mystery.

JET and Baldock again were brilliant as were Bryan and Flint.
I like Pack as well, for the first time I see green shoots.

Only Palace reserves but City were excellent tonight.

Just got back, it was a great game don't care if they fielded their reserves because that's their fault they are out of it. Bradford showed last year play your reserves and you get a chance so take it. JET frustrates me because he's fantastic but ****ing hell for a big bloke he is dog ****e in the air when he can be bothered, I said to the people around me he needs to come off then he scores <laugh> but they told me he was awful against MK Dons not interested at all.
Bobbie Reid and Joe Bryan were stand outs for me, for little uns they are not scared to tackle, they could become real stars for us. Pack is so calm it's unbelievable for a player his age, Williams looks a bit nervous at times, but this will improve in time as e gets more games.
As much as I held my head in my hands when Fontaine came on I don't think he deserved to get the boo's that won't give him much confidence.
And negative Mike, I don't think there are that many goalies around who would of saved their goal, it was a pleasure to see it, really well taken.

Good performance but people getting a tad too excited imo, well they are on my twitter feed anyway

If we perform like this against Gillingham and more importantly the blue few we'll have no problem picking up points

My god ROD am I that bad? My comment was made solely off the BBC Sport live text, and it read like this - Clearance by Fontaine followed by a Palace goal. Probably not the best view of the match and I apologise for my evaluation based on skimpy evidence and trying to be a smartass came back to bite my ass. Oops!

    Positive enough for my detractors?

Having just watched the highlights on the OS at 3am I can say that it wasn't a goal from a Fontaine clearance Palace were attacking as they had several times before but this time their player managed to strike the ball really well which is what you expect from a premiership player, Hollowhead wasn't happy but he picked the team and he has to take it on the chin because they got well beaten it could and probably should have been a bigger margin of victory. A repeat of the first round cup game against the Gills on Saturday would go down very nicely now, one problem though is two or three injuries to our younger players makes them doubts for Saturday and could be out for longer depends on if it was just tightening of the hamstrings or if they were pulled.

I'm told we have to supply fans to cool down the pies, though would you want 6 or so hairy city supporters blowing on your pies to cool them I wonder?
