Chopra will be a Town player by the start of next week in a £1.2 Million deal on a 3 year contract. Expect confirmation either tomorrow or Tuesday latest. IMHO a far better signing than Sharp would have been.
Just trust me Cinnamon press conference in the next few days! If I'm wrong I will shave off my prized handlebars and post the clip on youtube!
I know what your going to say but I've been hearing the same thing about the Chopra deal from one of my reliable sources at Portman Road http://www.football-rumours.co.uk/ipswich-rumours.php
I hope we announce a few other signings soonish, not that im one of these people moan we haven't signed anyone yet. It's just that the club has managed to hide most of its action that it just increases the tention as to what players we actually are hoping to get to fill the gaps.
As much as i enjoy your posts warky, i do remember you saying the exact same about sharp. I seriously hope you are right, but until i see him holding up the town shirt, then i'll be a little bit dubious. Although i do once remember Unsworth with a villa top, only for the next day to leave for everton!
Wouldn't get to excited lads! shadow of the player he was 2/3 years ago, personally im kind of glad he's going, only reason i would keep him is due to the fact we have no other strikers at the moment!
Based on what ??? I doubt there will be any movement at Cardiff until they get a new manager...........
Stretchy I posted that thing about Sharp just to wind up the Donny Boys back on 606! I am 100% sure that we will be signing Chopra this week!
I'd like to know based on what your 100% certain that Chopra will be here this week ! However, if he is, that would be a good move by us.
Calm Down! Calm Down! All in good time guys! It's "Imminent", "Impending", "Irons in the fire", "Wheels in motion"
They are just passing time trying tofind a different excuse as to why he turned down our offer and decided on Burnley!
Well if he signs for you and it's a big if then judging on his performance in the second half of the season then you've overpaid lol, that said a change of club might well do the trick. Opinions seem divided on the Cardiff board, personally I'd like him to stay and see what he can do under a new manager.
Gillette - the best a fan can get! Is it twitching yet JWM? Hope heading to the horizon with its arse on fire!
serious question lads, are you happy with Chopra coming. In some of the games I saw on tv last season he didnt look as good as he once did.I think Sharp would have been a better signing. If Chopra was that good why would Cardiff sell. I dont think he's the answer for you boys.
I have said this elsewhere and will say it again. Chopra, after joining a new team does very well (normally) and is near impossible to stop for a few months. After that it seems he gets board and wants something new in his life. To that end, he would probably help to secure Championship status but after January/February might lose interest.
