    We have no substitute central midfielder for the Man Utd game if Allen is out. Our squad depth is seriously poor, we really need to start making transfers otherwise we're just going be in the same situation we were after last season's transfer window <doh>

    He doesn't have the physical presence or attributes to play there at present. Or the defensive awareness. Especially not in a game as physical and demanding as a game against Manchester United.

    Mweh: Allen covered, chased back and successfully tackled a guy that owned Johnson all night and made two decent runs through a couple of tackles.

    i've not be impressed with our performance, we kept the ball well against stoke and villa (1st half). That tactic seams to have gone out the window this game. much more kick and rush. It maybe because we are playing sterling and ibe who like to run with the ball more.
