I take my boys Crabbing off the Harbour they love it. Worth doing as the pubs are very close and you can take your beer over to your crabbing spot The nets and bait can all be bought there, all very cheap so makes a great day out - trust me the harbour is ****ing spectacular - but go over the bridge to the Brewers Quay side, you can even get a mini boat taxi there although it's a 3 minute walk, the kids like the boat taxi
Oh another target missed, would have love to see him here. I'm not sure if we even considered him, but I do believe if we had bid, we would've had a good chance of getting him. But im starting to worry abit though, it look's gloomy in the transfer front, not even some rumors to be excited about. I really hope we bring in another flexible attacking mid. We can't expect Coutinho to fire on all cylinders throughtout the season, when you look at spurs and the options they have in midfield, I don't get why BR would even be concerned about bringing in another Attacking mid to compete with Coutinho. Someone Ljajic would've been fantastic.
So One CB with groin 2 CB's still recovering RB who's pants (sorry I'm being consistent in my opinion) same CB that can be RB recovering. Cover LB ankle One of covering/switching CM hamstring. Relying on great forward and even been better twat forward we don't trust. With others very young. Sorry. Cheque book out. This match proves just how thin & vulnerable to injuries we are. Couple more & we're in trouble of pishing away our good start. Won't happen. But if it doesn't can people blame the cheque book writers and not the mere "coach" please?
This match was a blessing in disguise. I had a bad feeling that we might have been done with transfers for this summer. This match was a wake up call. The owners better ****ing get the cheque book out
We have six CB's at the club; Agger, Toure, Skrtel, Kelly, Coates and Wisdom. IMO, that is good depth, we have just been unfortunate with injuries to four of them! The fact that two of them (Skrtel and Coates) are unwanted is irrelevant here.
Yeah, Skrtel's 'injury' - the same one that had Bale and Rooney pull out of games too. Nasty one to get over.
The fact that 3 of them are not good enough for the PL (kelly is close though) is relevant though. So we have 3 ready defenders, one more is needed with or without injuries to the squad. Hopefully this gets us to pay up for a good defender rather than spending 3 months trying to save a few hundred thousand on average defenders (Illori) and ultimately wasting Liverpool's, Sporting Lisbon's and Illori's time.
