I said this earlier, not the Suarez mata swap but he won't ever join us. However, I would yes, he offers as much skill as suarez and has a lot less baggage, doesn't score much goals but gets loads of assists, IF Sturridge can stay fit hen he'd get a shed loads of goals from Coutinho and Mata. However, it won't happen. I really do hope we go for Moses though, wasted talent at Chelsea.
Sorry, should have made it clear, I mean doesn't score as much as Suarez does. Still a very good return though, quality player
I know in total Mata had 18 goals and 17 assists last year, which from an AM/Winger position that is some serious return.
So Assaidi has gone for the season. Another body gone. Someone said wisdom has gone to Wigan on loan but can't see any report on this. However, if its true the squad gets thinner so surely there must be a couple lined up to come in. I know Assaidi hardly played but with Coates out wisdom would surely be needed as cover in a number of areas esp as Kelly is someway short of fitness. It's beginning to remind me of last years summer window!
Indeed it is, my point is though if it were to happen, which it won't, and Sturridge gets injured, who's going the score the goals? Borini won't, he can't score for **** Aspas maybe? But who else? If we got rid of Suarez or swapped him for a diff player then I feel that he needs to be replaced with a clinical striker.
So its Suarez with 41 contributions to Mata's 35. IMO, we'd be a better 'team' with Mata rather than Suarez, plus Sturridge's return would be higher (Mata looks to pass/assist more often)

Mate there is so much to do here - depends if you've got kids? If so there's a sealife centre a beautiful sandy beach, pirate golf, a huge tower that you can go up and look over the coast..etc etc....Too much to mention. If you're looking for pubs or clubs the place is ****ing rammed with them, from Rum Shacks, to all night clubs, to gay bars, to proper old fashioned boozers, to gastro pubs - the lot. It's one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country The Harbour is insane, and a beautiful place to sit and get pissed as it's surrounded by pubs and restaurants and loadsa boats and fanny everywhere Take a walk round Brewers Quay - that is a MUST.
See Assaidi has gone to Stoke on loan then. Rather we had sold him as I don't see him fitting into the team even if he has a decent season. Guess it frees up some more space for a LW
