Try a couple of sentences in one post. It's just possible we may work out what you are talking about.

Thank you. <ok> If we need a player of the quality of Crouch then England must indeed be mediocre.

Your a good team, your last & only ever appearance at a major tournament was 1966, but you'll still be considered as one of the Favorites to win the Euro2012 championships though. Barry is world class, Johnson is world class, Hart is world class, Terry is world class, never been exposed at international level, Rooney always plays well at tournaments, crouch is the messing puzzle though, in order for you to win the euro's, come one england!

I can't believe that there are people here knocking Capello for leaving Crouch out of the England squad!

After the World Cup, everyone was on Capello's back, saying that he had gone back on his word to pick players on form rather than reputation. When he actually sticks to that policy, people get on his back. He can't win!

Crouch was, by far and away, one of the worst strikers in the PL this last season. He would have been the second-to-last person I would have chosen to put in an England shirt (the absolute last being Defoe). If Capello is following a policy of "there on merit" then Crouch didn't deserve to go.

Now, if Crouch is truly stating that he will not play for England because Capello didn't pick him, he doesn't deserve to wear the England shirt. He doesn't deserve to wear the Spurs shirt!

I am getting absolutely sick to death of these arrogant, inept players throwing their toys out of their prams because they think they are bigger than the game.

Capello's hardly done an amazing job for England though, has he, GST?
He's totally gone back on his promise to pick players based on form, rather than the same old crap, for a start.

The so-called Golden Generation should've be shipped out after the farcical performance at the World Cup and the next World cup should be the focus.

I'm not convinced that Capello actually cares about the job, frankly.
His English is still appalling, especially when you compare it to that of his compatriot Carlo Ancelotti.

I'd rate him higher than Bent and Zamora. Crouch is a proven international who will score goals!

Crouch would not have missed Bent's sitter(s) and would have offered completely different services when we ran out of ideas.

    Fact.

Peter Crouch for England: 19 starts, 22 goals.

He does have a point, doesn't he?

The Grauniad hit it on the head today (by saying what I've been saying for five years) - too many of the England team, in the article they name Lampard and Ferdinand, believe a place in the England team is their right, and anyone who is deserving of a place can wait until they retire before they get it.

Crouch has probably been sharing a room with some of them for too long...
