I think Moyes and many fans would have taken that at the start. It was always going to be tight difficult match and sometimes you just have to take a draw even though you would prefer a win. So a good point rather points dropped. <ok>

Saffa would have made a couple of attacking substitutions. Motes was too scared to.

He still thinks he is at Everton where a point at home v big clubs is an achievement.

Now united fans are arguing that a point at home is an achievement too.

Is that what reds want? Viewing mediocrity as success like the dippers down the road.

    It's a slippery slope

I don't think any United fan would argue that. Not when you have been brought up supporting the biggest club in the country and dominated the league for more than two decades...<ok>

I think he had excuses this time round for only getting a point. But that will be a rare occasion. He won't want to have to explain further draws and I don't think he will or he'll appear ridiculous. <ok>

Given City's unexpected loss I think both sides will be relatively happy with a point. Lets hope the S/B game is more entertaining though!!

Fair post smithy. You are favourites for the title

I think with your cutting edge up front you should have gone for it and given rvp some chances .

The points were there for you

I don't think we are favourites. 3rd favourites the last time I looked <ok>

I think united went for a win but didnt go all out for it. Mourinho came for a draw and didn't even try for a win. I don't think a United win would have been unfair but Moyes would have been happy to get it out of the way. 4 points out of 6 isn't bad.

Thats rubbish Smithy, of course he attempted to win. Probably thought we'd nick one and hold on, all of our midfield are goalscorer's so the fact their wasn't a bespoke stiker in the starting eleven didn't matter that much. Moyes lack of ambition was clear and was in Everton mode and looked happy with a draw against top draw Chelsea.

Diego your kidding yourself if you think Utd are as strong a side under Moyes tactically and mentally as they were under Ferguson, Chelsea were at your place and you dropped two points that will be crucial come the end of the season.

    Just saying....<whistle>

    You slut PMK.

With the opinions on the Chelsea board about Moyes, you'd think United we destined for the drop.

I wonder how that game will effect the pitch, last year it was terrible. Can't imagine parking a bus on it the first game of the season will do any good.

I don't disagree about Chelsea getting a better result with a draw at OT, but they did park the bus. Although most teams playing very defensively when facing a superior footballing team. <whistle>

Yup! First win outside of Southern California since may I think.

Finally dropped Carlo Cudicini out of the squad, and let a real keeper in there and we get a clean sheet on the road. Got tickets to the game on Saturday, with LD's new contract I'll be disappointed if we don't score at least 4 goals!

So why did they all defend for most of the game, such quality you have and they looked flat and scared to attack a so called weak UTD midfield and defense. Jose is scared of Sir David.
