And these targets will just sit around and wait for their chance at Leeds, knocking back any offers from other clubs in the meantime ? Or are they players that nobody else wants ?
There are gonna be a few stars given the boot in the next week from Man City as pelligrini has no room for Barry and Milner, please send them to us on loan and pay their wages. Even Rodwell will do or Richards ..... These 4 need to go somewhere but most of the smaller prem sides have already spent as much as they can afford, so the only option is to send these out on loan. West Hams wage bill is already maxed out in relation to football fair play rules, so come on City ...
Doc ... you make sense with the Man City point ... once window closes every Prem club will have excess to loan out. Wootton is a good example, Moyes knew he wasn't going to be registered now he is 21, so a sale to Leeds was probably best option. There will be players available on loan to buy deals on September 3rd.
No player is gonna wait for Leeds and i haven't a clue if anyone nobody else wants his targets and neither do you as no-one knows his targets. McD has also stated players not on his list may become available as happens during the madhouse that is the the final days of the transfer window. I'm saying if Ross goes there will be a plan B as i trust both McD and the board to re-invest any monies on improving the squad IF the right players are out there. This ****e about having more pockets to line is pathetic.
He said he had 7 lined up and that was before pre season. He got 3 of them. I just can't see anyone good enough to replace Ross at such short notice (hoping he doesn't go)
Depends on the quality of the player. We let Beckfords run down and it was a master stroke. Wouldnt have been promoted without him in the year we were. Scum have dug in their heels about Rooney and he was the pick of a load of **** last night. 2m for Ross is nothing short of a joke. In a mediocre team like we have, he is worth a fortune to us playing. Get 2m and we could end up with yet another Morisson joke.
I'd let Ross's contract wind down if it meant we kept him until promotion. He might even re-sign if we got promoted within 2yrs. More to the point, I'd find it hard to believe that we'd ever let him go for £2m, or to a promotion rival for anything other than silly money.
In regards to winding down a contract he is signed up till 2015 we can easily review where we are at come Christmas and still have 18 months left
We all want him to stay. It's his scummy agent I feel is stiring the ****. But this is all hypothetical and maybe we are reading to much into things and getting a bit paranoid.
Latest from big nose Mowbray: " It leaked by mistake and yes we've been desperate to get him, but the kid keeps scoring evertime we put another bid in. This makes it difficult for the club to sell him and it looks like they will not sell him now. Fair play to Ross if he stays as he's at a great club and fair play to the club if they keep him, as now looks likely"
Maybe we are but a one lie statement from gfh would end all speculation even one of their silly tweets
Ahh, what a nice man.... Unless of course its a double bluff, in which case lets break him into little bits...
Of course, it could all happen on the last day and we are left with no-one to get. Then a week later, we pick up a top player on loan from a top Prem club for the season, using the money from Rossco's sale for wages. I can still dream. And look at the optimistic side.
Brilliant news, what a way to start your Leeds career Mind you, he is replacing Lees, who is worth a goal every game.................... (Must stop this apparent anti-Lees stuff, in fact I still think Lees can be ok, he just needs a break atm, imho )
