I have no desire to tempt providence, but the rumours surrounding Williams and Michu to Arsenal, seem to have dissipated. The "window" days are fast running out,and it must almost be time for Huw Jenkins to turn his phone off,or take a mini break somewhere hot. Does anyone think the talked about "extra striker" will actually materialize?
Does the loan window close at the same time as the transfer window. I think at this point there may be a better shot at getting an enterprising striker through a loan rather than a transfer. Use the new guy for Europa and get Bony banging away in the Prem.
I can't see any players leaving before the transfer window closes next Monday (apart for those which are orchestrated by ML i.e. Ki. I am almost certain that Odemwingie will be joining us before the close of the window.
Going slightly off topic. I don't normally pay any heed to the points/posts/rep figures, but couldn't fail to notice the absurd disparity between Yankee Jack, and Sbulby's figures. Yankee has posted 2,634 times, and been awarded 38,656,301 points for his efforts. Sbulby,on the other hand, has received 30,469,008 points for 32 posts. Not that it matters a jot in the real World, but who is responsible for producing/allocating such nonsense?
Loan and transfer window is the same for the Prem Yankee. We will get someone in upfront I'm sure. I think we are missing a trick by not having a left footed winger though. Routs, Dyer, and Pablo are right footed and Lamah doesn't look destined to ever get a run of games (which is irrelevant as he is also right footed). In those games where we could do with stretching the game a bit I fear we lack a true lefty (feet not politics). Routs and Pablo when played on the left both run into cul-de-sacs as they want to change feet. Maybe a striker with a left foot and ability to play out wide would be a smart signing. Not asking for much like...
Just over three days to the close of the transfer window,at 23.00,Monday,2/9/13. Is there likely to be any last minute transfer frenzy engulfing The Club?
I'm hoping for a striker and a central defender - especially as we have at least six extra games coming up.
Well Ki has gone ,very disappointed with that decision does that mean we'll see more of De Guzman ? http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/story-19731349-detail/story.html?
Most definitely, quality player going to a rival is never a good move .I suppose there'l be dispensation that he doesn't play against us but thats pretty academic if he does the business for them in the other games
So much for Huw Jenkins "I expect him to stay" statement, thought it was a rather cheerio remark!................
If the player wanna move on it sound quite ok to let him play in another club on loan. Shelvey was clear nr. 1 and Guzman and Ki had to fight for being nr. 2 so proberly less then 20 matchs to Ki in a Swansea shirt this season. I have allways liked Ki<s technical skills but mentally he just lacked those last 20 %.
"It's hard work following you around". Just stick close to me bony, Dragon won't be too far away !!! He's got this fixation...
"It's all your fault Vetch". That's right, blame me,ah what the hell,I've got broad shoulders, that's why Dragon is so fixated,he likes broad shoulders...!!!
