I don't think they will sell to Chelsea. On last night's showing he has proved he will massively improve Chelsea's team. Now why if you are United or Moyes will you wish to do that? save some millions and improve Glazer's annual dividends he extracts from the club? Err..I don't think so.
Yep...the ever reliable sky sports 'source' has spoken.... Don't the United fans deserve a comment from the player himself?
Not going to hand in a transfer request = not prepared to miss out on massive loyalty bonuses. Chelsea won't bid again without him stating his intention to move on, so he stays then - at least until January......
Rooney came to us saying he wanted out, I think Jose had every right to force the issue. If he stays it just means you have a player who doesn't want to be there. As for Jose not rating certain strikers, I'd like to see the link to your source of information given that there is such?
I am not expecting any comments from the scouser. I hope he has come to his senses and realised that the only way out of United this summer is to a foreign club. He cannot pick the team he wants to go to. United will dictate to him where he is going and he is not f**king going to the thick boring Chavs and improve them. If Moyes sells him to the Chavs then he is finished as a United manager with fans (and the rest of football) not respecting him. He surely cannot be that thick: it would be like calling time on his career as United manager before it had even started.
I suspect he wants the club to issue a statement confirming that he never asked for a transfer request. Fergie did Moyes no favours on this one.
I suspect that like the City episode once the window closes and no transfer has occurred everyone will forget this has ever taken place. As long as he does not go the f**king chavs (where he will definitely improve them) I dont give a **** what happens to him. Like suarez at the scousers, he has disrespected the club and he needs to do a lot of making up to the fans and the players...
I see, thanks, hopefully that's the end of Chelsea's pursuit of Rooney, looks like they'll be getting Eto'o.
How fickle fans are! disrespect because he needs a new challenge / more money / better team. Couldn't imagine you collegues coming out with that **** if you gave your notice in to go for another job can you!
Has he handed his notice in? News to me. Are you are better team? No. Are Chelsea offering more money? Don't know. So, new challenge. There is nothing fickle about United fans finding playing for Chelsea as a new challenge laughable.
Needs more money? Nope... Needs a new challenge? Then go play in Spain or La Liga, how is Chelsea a challenge, apart from being surrounded with fewer quality players? He might as well go play for Hull FC then for a REAL challenge! Needs a better team? Good one. The league table after 38 games doesn't lie...
If anything Chelsea is less of a challenge for him. RVP and Welbeck offer him a lot more competition for places than Chelsea, whose strikers are so **** their manager trusts a winger up front ahead of them in big games. Tho' fair enough, if Wayne feels he doesn't have what it takes to compete at the top any more then I wouldn't begrudge him wanting to move to a team where he faces less of a challenge. Just makes it highly ironic that he only signed a new contract after Utd assured him he would be competing at the top level, and now that same contract is preventing him from moving to a lower level. Poor old Wazza never was all that bright
After the title was won and nobody gave a **** about the outcome, you mean that game. Why did he not play him yesterday if he is that good, in fact why wait for so long to put on a striker?
Al Jazeera? Because they would know before Sky and the BBC. First thing the agents think when a contract is agreed, "Quick, get on the blower to Al Jazeera!!"
