if he is AWOL rather that AWL then we should be on the blower to his agent saying "turn up or transfer is off". How long do you think it would take? Half an hour for him to show?
If he didn't show and the transfer's off then we are stuck with him and I'd rather he'd just pee off.

I'm with ya there. I'm so sick of it all over the press. I do think Levy is playing silly buggers though, which is good. If we can draw it out for another week and complete it right on deadline then it might prevent Arsenal signing some good Madrid players
ATM, I still want Bale to stay, because I still believe with him, Vlad and a back up keeper we could realistically do something amazing for Spurs and finish top 4 and win a trophy. But maybe I'm being foolish (hears song in back of his bonce) and maybe Bale is Spurs history and Lamela is the way forward.
Bale clearly has his mind set on Madrid, Utd would be a step down as Moyes doesn't offer the same pulling power as Fergie. Just let the lad go to Madrid, we're getting a world record fee and remember Bale for all the great moments.
I agree. But i can't for one minute allow myself to think he's staying now. I wanted him to stay at all costs but i've finally resigned to the fact he is going. To start hoping he is staying now would just mean pain
