Did anyone see that there were rumours of a certain agent being mentioned that we were supposedly in contact with? - I can't remember the agent name, but the rumours were yesterday. No one knew who the player was who we could be talking to the agent about, but there was a number of players mentioned on that particular agents books. Two more well known ones were Javier Pastore and Ever Banega. Well apparently we've made contact over Ever Banega, which could mean those rumours about the agent could be true. Or I could be talking out of my arse.

the thing I don't understand is this suggestion that the press has made that he returned to the uk because an offer had been made from another club. I thought the whole point was that he is supposed to be desperate to go to Madrid. If that's the case and an offer came in from another club, he'd have just said he wasn't interested.

It's pretty clear to me that the vast majority of Spurs fans, me included, doesn't know what's going on. So, I would suggest it's wrong to castigate Bale until we know the facts, or even the 'facts-lite' if that's all that will be on offer.
I wonder how many people Levy's got following Bale's agent? I'd love to see his career ended by this one.

Quoting this one as on my phone and its being a pain but regarding your other post about a killer pass. - Those stats are deceiving. We only beat Palace and Swanseea 1-0 even tho we dominated both games and our goals in both came from penalties. We made very very few clear cut chances and while confident in possession and dominant at the back we couldn't break down either teams defences and both Palace and Swansea aren't particularly defensive teams. The 5 against Tbilsi was impressive but thy are a very poor team I think we have a team to challenge for top 4 right now. But with a truly creative midfielder we will have a squad to challenge for top 3 and with a chance of winning the Europa league.
We always get this with stats, the stats say we created tons of chances then you ask these same fans '' what clear cut chances do you remember? ''..... um..... errrrr.... well....!' 'but the stats said we did '' Lets see how many chances we create against quality defences with our style of play as currently it's not good enough or creative enough and we will fall short again unless as you say we bring in someone who can offer some creative thinking alongside all this pace and power.
