What would you think of this team lining up for you guys next season; ive tried to add players that are realistic targets GK:Stockdale- Gordons always injured and stockdales proved his class when hes replaced schwazer RB:Bardsley CB: Johnson - should be able to get him for under 10mil quality player CB:Turner/Bramble LB:Richardson RM: Bentley - should come cheap and proved at blackburn that when he's given a regular run of games he can be a quality player CM: Hitzelsperger - Heard he could be a free and would surely be happy to return to prem CM: Cattermole CM: Gardner - Great season for birmingham, scores goals, although may not want to leave as he's a local lad LM:Sessegnon ST: Gyan Stockdale Bardsley Bramble Johnson Richardson Cattermole Bentley Hitzel Gardner Sessegnon Gyan Then obviously getting some more signings in; possibilities Bothroyd (free), Burke (free), Ba (free), Larsson (free), Gibson and brown been mentioned, Upson (free) etc
Yhh but as i said look at what he can bring to the table with a bit of confidence and a run of games he may be worth taking a punt on
Stockdale? Why Bentley, no thanks. Richardson, first choice l/b? Gyan, lone striker. hate it. Some decent players though...
The final few games of the season showed us that Sessegnon is twice the player when he is given a central role. It is an absolute waste when he is played wide

jesus poolie are you trying to drive fans away Bardsley was our best player last year and heskey ffs apart from that not bad
Not realy a fan of Heskey myself but with us after strikers think he would be available for a couple of million, Brucie ha worked with him in the past and likes the lad, would be a decent 3rd choice IMO As for Bardsley he might of been the most consistant player but IMO his hard work and effort overshadows his limited footballing ability, we need a left footed player who gets down the wing on the overlap to give us balance and IMO Richardson is the best option as he gives us another attacking option and Hutts is just class
I quite like the team though maybe if you have nothing to do sat afternoons you can get a seat in the dugout Nothing to do with this post but interesting taken from BBC Newcastle have stopped talks with captain Kevin Nolan over a new contract so he could run down the remaining two years of his deal and leave for free. Does this mean Newcastle have millions to give away

Hmmm. I take it everyone is either resigned to loosing Henderson and Cattermole or they don't rate them. Only one team has Henderson and none have Cattermole!
cannot believe the transformation shambles bramble has had at sunderland whilst he still has the occasional shocker it is a testament to his improvement that you're all putting him in your ideal XI (or there are no other options)
Yeah, he has been one of our best performers since signing from Wigan. He seems to have ironed out the stupid mistakes he was making in his younger days. The majority of us rate him very highly and lets be honest, for £1m he was an absolute bargain
ugh please stop with all the lone striker gyan formations, the hell with that, two upfront please with gyan able to work off a foil. also i reckon bardsley does LB better than richardson, just my 2p tho
