I don't. I think at £3.5m, I'd have Graham of the 3, even though the other two are likely to cost £5m!
Trotter - Millwall. Best player at the KC last season by a country mile. (Whatever a country mile is)
I keep forgetting how much money was thrown around by the previous management. Ghilas and Halmosi..... Altidore, Sonko, McShane, Gardner, Zayette...... Bullard, Olofinjana, Cousin, Hunt..... And then we undersold Turner!
SAFC: We'll give you £2.5m plus McShane and release to the press it's £4m and undisclosed for the Irishman. HCAFC: Deal
HCAFC: We won't let him go for a penny under £12m SAFC How about 4? HCAFC Absolutely not. He's future captain material! SAFCAwwwww.... go on...... HCAFC Ok, but we want an international defender! SAFC How about Paul McShane, Ireland international? HCAFC Never seen him play :/ SAFC Perfect.....
Smart arse, Rosie!!!! An acre's an Imperial Unit for measuring land, defined by what 1 man, with an Ox could plough in a day, None of this feckin' Euro crap measures on this board!! It's a local board, for local people!!!!
As far as I can see, £3.5m for Graham is a far safer bet than over £2-2.5m for Halmosi or Ghilas, he's 25, scored 24 goals last season(in 45 games) and I think he'll still hit double figures in the Premier League. Strikers don't come cheap and Graham has to be worth double what CMS is worth(if not three times).
In that interview I did for Kisser Magazine, I asked Justin Whittle who he would most like to see us sign and he said Wellens.
If you gave me an ox and told me to plough a field then the acre would be very tiny indeed, I'd get about 10 feet then go to the pub for lunch then come back tomorrow
