If you want to get IA back you should ask for suggestions about who we should get to take our corners. He'll tell you!
IA knows the value of a good penalty taker and will back it up with a plethora of stats Will you be at Sparrows on Wednesday FHB? I'm so busy at work that I just can't make it
Perhaps we could entice Pavel Abbott, Paul Benson and Akpo Sodje back, too. In all seriousness, though, I would prefer to forget the dark days of Parky and his bargain-bin signings. As much as he is doing at Bradford, and good luck to the fellow, I still believe we have a manager who can only do good things for our club. It will be a sad day if CP turns his back on us, which is why I feel we should rally behind him.
I thought Akpo gave 100% whenever he played Swindon when down to 9 men after 25 mins comes to mind and he ran for 60 minutes before practically crawling off. And i liked Abbot too
Chris Powell is going become a Top-Class Manager - Fact - but he has a lot of learning left to do first. Imagine watching him become that manager at another club? I rest my case.
And your information comes from?????? This guy lost his job for a reason which will be explained in the tribunal. If it was justified he loses his case if it was not the club loses money which everyone says we can ill afford to lose. What is daft about that.
On the subject of CP however, I do not believe the man that put together the team that got us out of league 1 should be treated so shabbily on the evidence of a handful of matches one of which was played in a swimming pool. If at the end of the season we go down I believe that even with a renewed contract he would consider walking, which is the integrity of the man but he will fight tooth and nail to keep us in this league and it is my personal belief that it is his enthusiasm and managed to put fight into our players at the end of last season. Yes he may have no money to add to the squad, we don't really know the truth of the situation but evidence is mounting as we approach September, that doesn't mean he will not, make a fist of it. Those creating panic now should join the Warmington on sea branch of the supporters trust.
I usually stand about half-way between club-house and halfway line. I'll probably be wearing my decorating clothes, coming straight from some decorating I'm doing.
Another defeat tonight. The pro Powell canonisation attack dogs out in force on another site. I give CP 3 games to stop living off past glories, tunnel jumps & Sven Goran Erikkson caps...and turn this sinking ship around. CAFC will always be bigger than.a one man personality cult. He shuffled the pack again tonight & failed.
Pigott played well, as did Evina. Those are 2 example of shuffling the pack which did not fail. Our team tonight, featuring a number of fringe players, pushed Huddersfield's first team ruddy close tonight. Yes, we lost, but we played reasonably well. Why are we 'attack dogs' if we defend Chris Powell? Stop playing the victim card. Are you accusing Powell of living off past glories? If so, I think you are doing him a great disservice, as he is the ultimate professional who holds this club close to his heart and is working his wotsits off to try and get results. We had rocky patches last season too, and look where we ended up. My view is that Powell's superb record over the past 2 seasons has earned him a lot more time than you're prepared to give him.
