I played RB. With me only being 5' 8", I don't exactly pose a threat at set pieces I'm more likely to get an assist than anything else but since I was only filling in (so stayed back) and unable to take throw-ins (they get you higher up the pitch at times), and didn't get near their goal.
I'm the same but LB yet I go up and hang around the box at corners. Tend not to get picked up as much and tend to get a few goals myself. Got an assist from a corner today, chested down and volleyed at goal which got tapped in by team mate (I claimed the pass as my shot was going about 6 foot wide )
I should have had two chances from corners but the taker refused to give it me on the edge of the box despite me being in acres. First time I let it go but had a go at him the second time. The third chance never came but he would have given me if it had I've played RB more than anywhere else but I'm not a specialised RB IMO. In the first season with this club I played every possible position bar in goal. I prefer RW though
Evening fellas, loads of Man City fans in my local town today, **** knows what they were doing here. I hope they moved on to Cardiff but were cutting it fine to get to the match. The valleys Cardiff fans are not known for their hospitality the police had assigned a car to this group of about 20 fans.
I used to love Steve Finnan when he played for LFC, back in the day. Or was it Matt Damon? View attachment 25742
Sky lives in Weymouth. Let him know you're going down there. Just don't bore him to ****ing death going on and on and ****ing on about the merits of various makes of football boots
I'll be with the mrs, the two boys and the parents (built in babysitters), can't see me having much of a break! I intend to "eat" in the pub three times a day
Your twenty-four hours too late Edit: in fact, it was you who I was talking to when I noticed it was missing
I think Gordon (my mothers other half) is planning on being the tourist guide. I just want to know where the pubs are and I can use my phone (or nose) for that I may catch up with Sky though, cheers
