As much as I love seeing QPR players in national squads I think with Dunnes recent injury history it might have been better if he had a rest, what do you think?

Could argue its more pitch time to get him fitter but have this fear of him picking up injury and us being left shorter at back again!

It is a concern alright, he always gives 100% when he plays and two competitive qualifying games might result in him picking up a knock just when he is getting his fitness back. He may not get a start though because Trap has been playing a different combination with good results so might not amount to anything.

    Double edged sword.
A fit Dunne will solidify our back four but not so sure I want him playing anything but league games for us

If he plays for his country it will help his fitness and his confidence. The day he isn't selected for Ireland when he is fit is the day we should worry.

I agree, he's just started getting a nice run of games under his belt, so an international break without a match might be disruptive. Dunne doesn't look entirely match fit yet, this should help him.

Not too bothered either way. We are a CB short at the moment, unless one of the kids can step up. Better to find out sooner, during the loan window, than later if Dunne picks up an injury.

really hope he doesn't do a rowly on it. I can still see that mis-kick that effectively ended his rangers career.
