The most worrying thing about us is I really don't know who is going to be scoring for us this season.

No one looks like scoring. The only player to get a shot on target is Tiote, and the player that's come closest to scoring? Sammy! With a **** cross.

We have good players but they aren't managed properly.

If we had played **** against West Ham but created chances, I'd have been much happier. But we played decent, but were terrible in the final third.

If we don't bring in an established striker and a decent winger goals will be very hard to come by this season.

Don't forget we were missing a lot of creativity against West Ham - Pardew said so, citing "Cabaye, Tiote and Jonas" as "options" he'd have liked to have called upon.

Newcastle had 14 shots off target without any on target today, something no other PL team has done in the past 8 seasons.

I wish I stuck 50 quid on us to go down when we were like 9/1.

I don't know. I can't see masses of goals in the current squad, and I can't see a consistent supply line either. Benni doesn't create much for others, Marveaux is hugely inconsistent. Cabaye our best creator doesn't want to be here. The likes of Benni/Marv etc on a good day can't get the ball in the right areas because Cisse is completely ineffective as a lone striker so we can't get it to stick long enough for them to get on top and past him.

How about we have lots of movement just infront of their keeper when we have a goal kick, allowing it to distract him enough for Krul to punt in full length and straight in!!!

It's probably up there in our top 5 "how to score" ideas at present.

Didn't I read somewhere that Marveaux created more "chances" against West Ham than any other player that weekend? I think he should be floated infield more. Ben Arfa can be useful on the right, but isn't pass-friendly enough to be a number10. Marveaux seems to enjoy the pass more than anything else, so we should give him a shot there. Again, I feel we should push Santon up and move Dummett behind. The midfield two of Anita and Sissoko need a lot of game time - bring Tiote behind them when playing stronger teams, Marveaux in front or a top two of Remy/Cisse when weaker sides are involved. But I think we should be focusing on Sissoko-Anita for years to come, let alone the next few matches. Jonas on the left when more attacking sides are involved, Santon or Marv (if 2 up top) when the weaker sides are involved. Ben Arfa/Debuchy should be given as much time as necessary, with Obertan as the understudy. Obviously Santon can operate RB as well. The CB's should be left alone as long as they're fit - games will help MYM and Colo, both should play again against Morecambe. Cisse should be second choice now behind Remy, in my opinion now. He's been too weak for too long.

I think Marveaux is useless wide, just disappears for long periods. I think he is a number 10. Unfortunately though he is very inconsistent and injury prone. So whilst I like having him in the squad, I think it is risky to rely on him. I defo like the idea of Santon wide with Dummett supporting.

    ------------Krul----------------
    Debuchy-Colo-MYM-Dummett
    --------Sissoko-Anita----------
    HBA---------Marv--------Santon
    --------------Remy--------------

That works for me. It still looks weakish though. I'd still like to see a striker who can make it stick. I'd still like to see more attacking midfield options. I'd like a lot of things we're not going to ever see basically.

Well they won't be coming from Jordan Rhodes that's for sure.
