The way all the matches are currently panning out, I'd argue that ourselves and Notts are on our way for home SFs, and Somerset and Glamorgan for away SFs.

Clearly still a very long way to go yet though.

David Willey is quickly becoming a very valuable asset. Can open the bowling, can close the bowling, can be exceptionally destructive opening the batting.

With all due respect to Northants, they can't offer him the sort of wages than some other counties can. He's currently 84* off 50 balls, including six 6s.

Sounds like there's a lot of assistance for the spinners. And that would fit in with how the pitch played when Durham played there.

I think 220 will be more than enough on this pitch.

Hopefully not, but this could be the last time Dimi ever bats for us.

    152 off 92 balls.

Would Mullally please stop banging on about Ireland and actually discuss the cricket?

219/7. Think that will be enough but you never know.

Looking like we need to win this...Notts and Northants are looking favourites to win their matches.
C'mon Dimi, an early wicket would be very handy indeed....Briggs and Dawson hold the key though.

Well we're going to have to win, because Northants are 99% certain of winning and at least one of Notts and Glamorgan should win from here too. So we wont be the best runner-up.

The worry for Lancs, Gloucs, Somerset and Glamorgan is that a weakened Warks side could fold horribly chasing 325, and so not just hand Northants the two points, but also a massive NRR boost.
