A tremendous effort by the team after that long trip to Georgia. Really proud of them, especially my favourites Paulo, Cap, Daws, Andy and Hugo
At first I thought he meant Andre Villas Boas and then realised that one of the players today was called Andr...
First impression during the game was that it wasn't one-sided. Though I did think the ref didn't give us stuff and then would give us a foul for something less. And anyway - the most blatant error of the afternoon favoured Swansea so can't see how it could be the most biased performance ever. Could imagine worse due to that one fact alone.
Which one was that Lenny? I had BBQ commitments and missed it all. Will look for it on motd2 tomorrow though
Nope - it'll take a long time before AVb is one of my faves- his treatment of Lloris and Daws is something I'll take a long time to get over. Win a trophy or get top 4- then I'll put him on my faves list
Hopefully he didn't order his ticket through stubhub and arrive late. Last game I went to I went straight to the collection window about an hour before kick off with no queue atall. Got there at 2 today and had to queue for an hour. The queue was even longer half an hour before kick off.
He was very card happy with Swansea, but didn't seem to be awarding unmerited free kicks albeit that he did protect townsend a bit. There were some more fouls that we could have got that we didn't. Couldn't see the penalty from where I was, but aside from that I wouldn't say the reffing made much difference even though a couple of their players were doing their nut.
I actually feel a bit guilty for that one. Townsend was right between me and the ref, and i'm sure the ref looked at our reaction before making his decision. Noone even stood up
No need for a fanfare Boss, hello anyway. The aura that was Man City has been dimmed somewhat hasn't it?
