Whats this alien tongue in which you all speak? Gerrz what you playing on Xbox? Ive been getting stuck into F1 2012 which is pretty good F1 13 when its released is going to have old cars, tracks and drivers on it (as well as all this seasons stuff) No Senna on it though
Sweet jesus, bring it back. AVI is a standard rather than an actual specific codec type, there's many different avi codecs, some will work if the TV recognises the avi files it's a matter of the right codec. As mentioned above, converting to divx files will probably be supported as divx is so popular and commonplace sheesh, my tv is nothing special but it plays all of the above formats, .avi .divx .mkv .mp4 note to self, avoid Toshiba, I all my movies from USB
Just Fifa 13 pal. I have F1 2012 but don't think it allows for online play now does it? (mine my be 2011 or even 2010 though )
**** innit All the films I have on my PC (247 of them) are in AVI format too As I said higher up, I have a media player too so I could always just connect that and have done with it. Just frustrated me that I have a TV that says it will play films via USB but didn't
I download this file as a test and it worked, why didn't it work when I converted a film? I converted Batman The Dark Knight Rises if that helps
because your output file of the conversion was not the same as the test file, just the same standard How old is the software you are using to convert the videos?
The default .mp4 settings should work on a Toshiba. .wmv also works but if your software is older then the codecs might not be compatible with the new TV Divx converter lets you do .mp4 and wmv but the codecs are up to date as yours might not be, codecs encode the video in a format your tv can read http://download.cnet.com/Free-Convert-to-DIVX-AVI-WMV-MP4-MPEG-Converter/3000-2194_4-10906593.html thats why I asked how old the converter software is, or how long you have it
The converter software is old, been using it for about three years I've downloaded KingConvert Toshiba Video Converter now anyway so I'll give that a try cheers PS...I'll be back
The test file was a .mpg This programme is converting automatically to .mpg This ze good yeah? Edit: only problem is, the KingConvert Toshiba Video Converter and its going to put a watermark on any outputs
It worked! It worked! It only bloody worked!!!! Thank you guys, your help is much appreciated PS...need a proper copy of KingConvert Toshiba thingy now though
