Well I cant hear some of it unless its just repeating we sing for Watford (?) but I guess It just doesn't seem to catch on beyond your area that well. I like to join in but I'm one of those that follows the noise around me rather than being a lone voice trying to join in with those further away. It's not a major issue because the rest get a lot of people behind them and as I say great today.
Thats ok, the reason it sounds that way is cos its only me who does the first part. I start by calling out "who do we sing for" and the rest of the group reply with "we sing for Watford". Hopefully the noise will spread from our side to the rest of the rookery in the coming weeks and we can engulf you too lol.
Well if the improvement from game 1 to game 2 is anything to go by then I'm sure it will. You better go and rest your voice!

A point gained, not two lost methinks. A pity that the referee took so long to remember that persistent infringement applies not only to one player doing the fouling, but several players targeting the one for special treatment: Anya must be black and blue all over after yesterday. Typical Billy Davis side: physically uncompromising, tactically astute, a bit skilful. They will be there or there abouts come May. We will continue to improve. On the 1881 et al: it is improving. Who do we sing for - that will catch on I'm sure. A bit subdued after the Forest goal, need to redouble the efforts then, at a time when nobody really feels like it. Its hard, but needs to be done. Need to adopt a 'hive mentality'. It will come I'm sure
First experience of the 1881 is positive. When I spoke to jerzeypie earlier, he said that he couldn't hear the chanting when listening to the commentary, but he did admit that may have been due to him focusing on what was being said about what was happening on the pitch rather than anything else. He's looking forward to seeing and hearing it all at the Leicester game on November 2nd. As for the match, looking at the players I hadn't seen before, Angella impressed me the most.

Improved atmosphere (I stand in the 1881 section so always gonna 'seem' better anyway), decent game but a real **** of a ref. Watched it back and the $KY person also commented on a few occasions about his leniency. Forest have a very solid defence and mobile midfield, if they added a great striker would take some stopping. As for Watford, one of these days (maybe when new players get up to speed & our defence is settled) we'll play well for more than 30 minutes in a game and demolish the hapless opposition. It will come I'm sure; Won 3, Drawn 2, Scored 14 when only performing for parts of a game is quite an achievement! Don't know who the drummer is in 1881 but couple of points; need to set the tempo, not follow it and keep to simple backbeats on most tunes/chants rather than trying to imitate the melody (drummers are the rythm section) . Not a criticism btw, doing a great job and it will get better - the improvement from B'mouth to Forest is noticeable.
Any one of all three possible results would not have been unfair in this game. Given that they counterattacked effectively, hit the post twice and Almunia had to make three great saves then Forest might feel hard done by coming away with a draw But we had two excellent chances , went close several times and looked the better passing side. Forest did not endear with their physical tactics, but eh, this is the Championship. Encouraging for us were the performances of Anya, McGuigan, Angella , Forestieri when he came on. But Deeney looked subdued (effective marking?)and it was worrying how easily Cassetti was knocked off the ball a few times, leave alone his early mistake. He seemed to be afraid he would give away another penalty when Lansbury went past him to get a shot away. I can see Cassetti becoming a bench player when others are fit. A very versatile and useful bench player.

Cheers mate, there was no link in it. I made a remark about the referee but put asterisks in place of the expletive, maybe that was the problem? Not to worry, don't wanna repeat myself so will wait to see if it appears before, er, repeating myself....
Not sure I'll be in the Rookery for the Leicester game as I'll be bringing my 6 year old nephew. Although, considering how lively he can be, it might be where he'll get the most enjoyment.
