As l no longer live in the North East l usually attend about three home games a season via the hospitality route. That involves buying the tickets, one for me and one for my hubby, travel, parking, hotel, food and drink outside that provided on match day , which can then change at short notice, involving yet more expense. Supporting the team in this way is not cheap, but it's my passion and not only gets me back to SJP, but also back on Tyneside.
This season l have no interest at all in either looking at which matches we might come up for, none whatsoever.
This is simply because l am sick to death of Newcastle United being in the news for all the wrong reasons and have finally accepted that we are owned and therefore directed by a man who does not care or have an ounce of ambition for our club. Will l stay away, sadly yes because l cannot bear to witness it first hand anymore.

I put a post on here about being more excited about going to steve harpers testimonial than I was about the game against west ham, just about sums up my apathy regarding the whole situation

Looking forward to Harp's testimonial, I think we'll have a good night's entertainment with some decent football played in a great atmosphere. Loads of people are coming from all over the Country, just shows how popular Harps was/is.

Be great to see some of the old timers that once graced SJP.
