#toptechy I've actually done that before but not through HDMI. My old TV (which is a 40" Samsung) has a VGA point
I was playing a game at the same time. turned everything else off now and gone on Xbox instead, its on 48% already I got the TV in December. PC is about six or seven year old now but still decent spec considering.
playing game at same time Was wondering as mpeg conversion should be really quick even on an oldish PC. Is it a smart TV? internet?
I have a toshiba tv with the usb ports etc. Heres what you need. The file needs to be DivX or Xvid the audio needs to be mp3 you can see all the details of the file on whatever site youre getting the films from. aac and ac3 audio will not work as any video will not work if its not xvid. so in short download "insert film title here".xvid
Divx is a codec that makes avi files. They are still avi files. The TV will play avi files encoded the with the right codec divx or not
yes but theres some other codec I cant remember right now makes .avi files too and that one wont work on the Toshiba usb
I'd say there are a couple, there are quite a few avi codecs. My TV is a panasonic smart tv but I still get the odd video unsupported file type messages. If the TV is new, it should play .mvk .mp4 .avi files I would imagine, most HD files are either .avi or .mkv
I was hoping you would answer Hash as you're the residential techy here .mvk - doesn't work .mp4 - doesn't work .avi - doesn't work I tried Despicable Me 2 a couple of weeks back. currently converting the latest two Batman films Do I look female I've done the manly thing a misplaced them
