Made another mistake today and for once, people are beginning to jump on the bandwagon, Gary Neville who's a former United player but works for sky as a pundit and is England coach said '' he should've be getting a fist to it'', Niall Quinn also said ''he was too busy pushing a player to go catch the ball". About time pundit and the like had a go at him, he's believed his own hype and for that, his formed has dip big time, he was poor last season and was one of the reasons why City lost the title.
He drops a clanger far too ofen to be considered a top class keeper. Keano has been saying that for a year or more.
didn't Mancini singled him out as one of main reason for losing the title last season? .. seem he is keeping the same old good form from last season..
He's lost the plot since Roy had a rant about him on tv being over hyped/believing his own press etc when England v Ukraine was postponed becuase of the pitch flooding due to the roof leaking last year
Young keeper makes mistakes. Shocker Stop the press. De Gea looked out of his depth his first season and played an excellent season the following season, short memories. It was Hart who was the outstanding player against Brazil for England. he will make mistakes and so will De Gea but you won't be all over De Gea's like a rash vDS made some hilarious mistakes but was also brilliant. All keepers make them, the really good ones do not let it affect their game. If Hart has to be shoving players then his defenders are not protecting him enough
You recently got into one of your frenzies about comparing players but seeing as you have...Hart is 4 years older than De Gea and his constant errors barely get a mention when compared to De Gea's media coverage for his first season flapping. But you know that.
If you watched the game Hart was at the back of a crowd of players and just kept pushing them for no apparent reason, he completely ignored the ball until it went past him, he opened the gap for Campbell to attack.
Bit different though, Hart isn't exactly young, he has plenty of experience and we've seen him play extremely well in 11-12. Last season, and what it looks like this season, is he's clearly dropped down a level or two. Every team that wins a title typically has a great keeper at the back. They make the big saves late in the game to keep their team from losing games. Mignolet has done that twice in two games for Liverpool already this year. The points Hart loses for City this season could cost them the title. The Galaxy are in contention for winning a third straight MLS Cup this season, but have lost and drawn games at the end of the game, wether its down to poor goalkeeping or poor defending is another debate. They've dropped Cudicini for their new Panamanian keeper and he made an amazing save in the last 10 minutes to keep the Galaxy up 1-0. Those games are where the Goalkeepers make the difference. Hart hasn't been doing that and he's been letting in soft goals. While De Gea was letting in some soft goals, he was at least making the big clutch saves at the end of the game.
Hart does his job most of the time, but you wonder if he is the right man at City They need an older steadier hand I think. Hart seems better suited for a mid to upper table team. The mistake yesterday was that he was easily distracted from his main priority; the ball. A mistake less experienced keepers make. Thing is, he is not inexperienced anymore.
well..... David Platt said on AL Jaazera yesterday that if him and Mancini were at City this season, they would've got Begovic.
Been too inconsistent in the last 18 months or so. However, there's no doubt he has the ability, just seems to turn up for the big games, if its minor teams,he can't be bothered. Almost like Liverpool I guess.
