There's an awful lot of talk no the spurs forum about Modric coming to you. How much do you guys want him, and how much you willing to pay for him?

I want him lots. Unfortuantely I only have £1.52 in my piggy bank. Will you take a post-dated cheque and Darron Gibson?

Maybe throw in Berbatov, and Smalling, and you've got a deal :p

He's an amazing player my only issue is that he dosent seem to score that many goals but the only other replacement we seem to be seriously considering is sneider and he scores a lot less than most peole seem to think. Back to the point though i'd love to have him at Utd and think we should be prepared to go as high as 30 mil; would also love to see us get bale from you as well but not for more than 25/30 mil hes not worth the 50+ thats been quoted

Nah, you actually SHOULD captialise on our interest in Berbatov, could be a useful bargaining tool in this transfer

He doesn't score loads, because we don't play him very far forwards, that's Van Der Vaart's role this year. Modric is much better at pulling the strings in midfield. He can keep the ball well, without going backwards. I'd expect you to have to get to that £30m to get him, as Levy surely needs to keep players like him to keep us in the top 6, let alone pushing for top4. Bale is quoted that much, partly because we don't want to sell him at all, and partly because of the effect he's had this season, and everyone's gone a bit Bale crazy. the only problem with Bale, is he gets injured too much, as we over use him. That's where having Modric allows us to have another creative midfield talent
