Spurs players can just throw themselves to the floor in any position on the field safe in the knowledge that they will get a freekick. This is one of the worst refereeing displays I've ever seen.
Bony is raw, and no where near Premiership standard at the minute, so until he gets up to speed, he'll be coming off the bench, as for the Europa, we are playing League 2 sides at the moment, so an easier opportunity for him to adjust to his new team mates!................
Thought penalty was soft given he booted the ball in one direction but decided to continue his run in a straight line. First half was a pen though. We looked weak and got out muscled. Ref was weak but not an excuse.
Disagree there Phill, the Spurs players have done okay, and Canas has fitted in quickly. So did the likes of Michu last season. Only one way to get to PL standards and that's by playing the best teams. He shouldn't be on the bench, even if he only lasts 60mins atm he should be starting.
