1) Livermore - Good on the ball, and the way he helped out in defence and attack was terrific. 2) Koren - Had his best game for us today imo. Put a lot of effort in. 3) Huddlestone - The way he gets out of pressured situations so easily is amazing to watch. Brilliant player. Anyone bar Sagbo could have made the list. One of the best performances I've seen from City.
Kebab, I'm taking the piss. For months right up until Friday, a large number kept waffling some rubbish that Koren is past it or just not good enough. Now some of those exact same posters seem to have forgotten that he's not good enough and past it.
Was Swanny at the game? His report in the mail says the following. Maynor Figueroa was also superb and had Robert Snodgrass in his pocket in the first half, so much so that he didn't get a cross in. I bet he didn't he wasn't on the pitch.
Ahh fair. I was starting to think you were an idiot, like all those who think Jimmy Bullard wasn't a successful signing for us.
This is the closest one I remember in the last season and a bit, there's only 2 points separating 2nd and 4th. The result: Davies Huddlestone (came second because he had more 1st placed votes) McGregor
Koren, he got 49, Livermore got 40odd in 5th. Also think it's the first time since I've been doing it a goalscorer hasn't got a single vote, let alone the winning scorer!
1) Tom Huddlestone 2) Curtis Davies 3) James Chester (just edged out Koren) A great 10 man team performance.
