success next season in any off our domestic comps,or is it just a case off kenny building a team to try and start challenging again? lets face it i am fed up off people saying "its our year next season". so what do YOU expect and what do YOU expect us to achieve?
In all honesty? I expect either United or City to win the title. They will occupy the top 2 positions in the league. I think Chelsea will take 3rd. Then, I think it's a fight between you, us and the Gooners as to who takes 4th.
With no European footie expect Kenny to take the two domestic cups more seriously. He will insist that the club exists to collect silverware and will go all out to win both as well as targetting at least a top four finish.
FA cup win/League cup win - Mainly with the use of youngsters and then established team in the final. 3rd or 4th depending on who we bring in in the summer.
sounds fair enough, but we need to be more consistant against the teams who should be fighting near the bottom.
if we get to any off the finals in the fa/league cups i believe we should play the players who got us there.
yea totally agree,i for one would like to see the kids playing in all the games as well as the experienced players whether prem and the cups. going to a last post on another subject are the under 19s in the champs league off the under 19s?
Yes I said so in the last thread, and I've bumped up http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/50810-CONFIRMED-Liverpool-in-Europe-next-season for you.
He has a huge task. In 2009 when rafa led you to second you had a great side. That year only United and Chelsea competed with you. This coming season just to get into the top 4 you need to fight it out with 5 other teams. its a whole different ball game the PL now. As for cups, I suspect if Kenny wants you back in the CL asap you will out of the cups in the 3rd round allowing you to put all efforts into getting 4th place minimum.
I doubt if we're competing in cups that we'll use our first team, so it shouldn't impact on our league performance.
united19red i think we have a good enough squard to compete in the domestic comps,i think if we were in the europa league then yes we might struggle,as it is an awfull league to play in and you end up going to places where you really dont want to be going. kenny played some younger guys last season and to be honest they really did do well.so yea fair point, but with some additions in the summer hopefully we can put up a good showing.
We have a number of players in the Reserves and Academy ready to come up, so what better way to start them out?
ze we have loads, there is so much talent there,it will be interesting, and thanks saw that link started by bozz.
